In an effort to be more inclusive to the rising flood of newcomers in the kingdom (Likely due to the Arpee Effect), The Ruler of Tempus has opened the gates of her castle to allow them to enjoy the festivities with her other subjects.
Walking gracefully around the garden in a mermaid style emerald green dress, Azazel carefully adjusted the mask over her face. It came from just above her mouth and moved up to cup the roots of two curving horns that grew from her hairline and swooped back under her ears. Guards dressed in shining silver armor stood at the gates, instructing the guests on the rules of the nights of the festival:
The festival stretched over the course of the entire month of October, and everyone in the kingdom was invited from sundown until dawn every night. On any three nights of their choosing, they were to find the ruler of the kingdom, the princess, and try to solve any riddles she posed to them. There were no punishments for getting the riddles wrong, but if they answered correctly they would receive some prize that even they were not aware of. Otherwise, they were free to roam the expansive garden, partake of the huge feast of edibles that were provided, meet actual pureblooded demons, and much more!

Bored with the events on Earth, Zack decided to come for a visit. He was dressed as Josuke Higashikata with the pompadouar and everything. "Markus was right, it sure is beautiful here." He said carrying a pillowcase full of candy. He looked at the people enjoying themselves and the guards. I wonder where she's at he thought
Zack:
There was a moment of silence before Azazels hands grabbed his shoulders from behind. "Boo!" she shouted, smiling and spinning him around. "Zack!" she hummed, wiggling her hips. "What bings you here?"

Zack smiled "Well I was bored on Earth so I asked Markus to make a portal to here. He told me about the festivities that go on here" he said fixing the pompadouar. "It's been a while. Sorry I had to do an espionage mission involving the Mob. I made it in one piece though" he said proudly
She rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you did, no injuries or anything. Ah, why didn't Markus come, too?" she asked innocently, frowning. She tucked a lock of hair behind her pointed ear, licking her teeth. "I are a Carmel apple, and I regret it. My mouth feels sticky.
"I don't know. He said he was coming to this planet. I guess he went to another region." He scratched his head. "I only had a tiny cut. I almost got caught. That's all though" he noticed Zay licking her teeth. "Ahh those caramel apples. They can really get messy. I myself prefer sour candy." He said posing like the character he was dressed as.
She bit her lower lip. "Another region... Okay..." she said quietly, looking downcast. She looked up at him again, smiling. "Alright. Well, do you want to try answering a riddle tonight?"
"Sure. I hope it's not a hard one" he chuckles. He looked determined to answer the upcoming riddle.
Azazel grinned. "Not too hard, I hope..." she echoed. "Well, okay... What is the best time to have lunch?" she asked, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"After breakfast of course" he said fiddling with his hair. He got a feeling he got it correct.
"I think that 'Lunchtime' would have been a little better, but I'll accept that." the grinned, flipping her hand and presenting him with a rolled scroll. "Here. This is a scroll that you can use to get an enchanted locket." She smiled. "Throw it in a fire, and once the fire burns out, to through the ashes to find it."
The seasonal events caused students of Balefire Academy to start going home for the holidays. However, there were also students that travelled together in order to continue their training as a team. And though Grimm were inevitable in any land, the students of Vacuo had always been a little more ready and willing to face the dangers of the world around them.
Much to Team AMBR's surprise, however, the four students had found themselves crossed into a different area altogether. The only hint to this had been Beryl's words after she told everyone to stop.
"Hang on a second.... This doesn't look like the trail that leads toward the Peridot Isle..." Beryl said, running a hand through her blonde and green hair. She turned her attention toward the rest of the trail and noted the castle gates and the building behind it just ahead.
"... Guys... Vacuo doesn't... it doesn't have a second castle, does it? I know I come from Atlas, but..." Beryl asked. She was immediately answered by the rest of her teammates' resounding, simultaneous answer of 'no'.
"Should we go toward it? The gates are open, and there are people going toward it," Melan said, his wolf ears flicking forward with interest.
At Melan's question, everyone looked to Ambria since it was generally left to her when it came to the decision making of the group. She only looked between the other three and sighed in resignation since it seemed everyone else seemed more than happy to check it out.
"Sure..." Ambria's simple response was set, and only both Beryl and Melan were excited enough to take off in a dash. Rohan also started forward with a quickened pace, leaving the leader of the group temporarily on her own to catch up at her own, comfortable pace.
Once Ambria caught up, she already saw Melan helping himself to food, Beryl was around a gaggle of women -- likely chatting them up and flirting. As for Rohan... well... Ambria took several moments to look here and there for the tallest of the team. She idly thought to herself how she could miss such a guy.

"Thanks I'll stay here for a while since the night is still young. Maybe Markus will come" he smiled. "I have the night off anyways"
Azazel smiled at Zack. "Well, if you need a room, we've got one saved for you." she offered, then waved a hand. "Go on, enjoy the rest of the night." she said as she spotted a short woman who looked rather lost, near the enterance of the garden. She flashed Zack a smile then swirled away from him through the groups of people in fancy dresses and suits and costumes, toward Ambria. "Hello, dear! Are you alright?"
"Sure I'll spend the night" he smiled as he went to look around the castle. Well I'll better treat everyone here with respect.
"Oh..." Ambria started, looking to the woman that approached her. Amber was never much of a talker, she hated moments that put her at having to speaking with other people most of the time, though she did her best.
"I... just seem to have lost one of my teammates...." Ambria went ahead to say, frowning a little as she did. "He's about this tall... and muscular."
Amber lifted her hand and stood on her tip toes a bit to show how tall the teammate she was referencing was.

"Tall and muscular?" she asked, grinning as she turned to look back at the crowds of costumed people. "I'm afraid you'll have to be a bit more specifc, that describes near about half of the people in my kingdom. What is he dressed as?" she asked, adjusting the lay of her mask over her face and pulling up the sleeveless top of her dress so it rested more securely on her body.
With the request, Amber pursed her lips with discomfort. She was not a woman of many words... most people that went to Balefire Academy knew this... most of them, her teammates especially at the time of team conception, questioned how a near mute individual was chosen as the team leader for AMBR in the first place.
Silently clearing her throat, Ambria gave a small sigh and then went on to say: "... He's about my tone in skin colour. He's got... he's got ruddy coloured hair, and kind of greyish-green eyes...? He, uh... he also kind of looks like the guards -- heavy armour is what he's wearing, I mean. That armour is a deep kind of red in colour...."
Melan had finished gabbing some items from the proffered food from the events. He caught onto Ambria's scent -- more so since he was sensitive to her discomfort when it made itself apparent in her musk. He came over after a moment, a plate of varying foods in one hand, and a haunch of meat in the other that had a few bites already torn from it.
"You doing okay over here, Amber?" Melan asked, taking a bite of the haunch he held. He swallowed the chunk before greeting the other woman with a bit of a smile. It seemed that not only was his appearance wolf-like, but the hunger he had, and the grin he gave also seemed to have that wolfish flair.
Looking to Melan as he approached, Amber just nodded. She was grateful that he made his appearance, though. It meant that she no longer had to do a lot of the talking.

Azazel smiled appeasingly at Melan. "Well, Would you two like to try and answer a riddle for a prize? Or would you like to carry on with the festivities by yourselves for awhile to find the other in your group?" she gestured around the courtyard. "One of the guards around here should be able to help find who you're looking for better than I can."
Rohan had been nowhere to be seen because he had not actually gone to enter the castle when the team had been making their way inside. Ambria had missed Rohan's swerve to observe the decorum out in the front gardens.
Enjoying his time, Rohan had actually started talking with a group of people about their customs and traditions around here. He felt more comforted by learning about the people of the land that they were currently in, and how he should properly present himself.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt.... If we're all here, and it's a festivity... I really doubt Rohan is in any trouble..." Amber said with the same amount of resignation that she held when she approved the group come check this place out in the beginning.
Melan's ears perked forward, and if he had a tail, he might have wagged it. As far as he was concerned, any time away from Rohan was a good enough time.
"Then let's have at those questions, Amber! I'm sure between the two of us, we can get them right!" Melan happily said, taking another bite of his food as he awaited what Azazel was to riddle them with.
As Ambria was about to mention that the riddles could have been different from the ones in Remnant, she stopped herself. Melan just looked like he was actually having a good time. Compared to the racism against Faunus in Remnant in most places, this must have been a breath of fresh air for him to be able to walk around and converse freely with those around.
