Sundown Kid (played anonymously)

"..."

This was not something he was use to, let alone understood how such "childish" things worked. From the younger towns folk, he was told that this day and night of course was perfect for scary type things. Taking residence in a rather more "Modern" area, Sundown assumed he was already "dressed up". People would figure him in his normal, Wild West Attire would be a perfect costume.

His eyes were obscured by his hat where he stared at a bowl of candy that was given to him. What was he supposed to do with it?

"Wait... someone asked me to give people candy? I know I am not one for sweets..."

He sat down on some stairs, wrapping himself in his poncho, hoping for someone to arrive.
If it were not for Viola, Zach would not have been wandering the streets in such a fashion. He preferred going out and buying his sweets rather than going around, door-to-door, and doing the Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating. He was eighteen years old, after all, and questioning why someone of his age even agreed to this.

Bringing his jacket on a little more snugly, Zachary donned his Military Police uniform. It was neat, pressed, and well enough taken care of. He would have had the blade cases for added effect, but his 3DMG were currently locked away for inspection -- that is to say... he never actually got them finished before con season.

For the most part, Zachary was on the hunt for people that seemed as if they were in the spirit of things... people that were not children, that was. Because Zachary saw more than enough children that ran past him and around him -- dressed up and excited for the rest of the evening.

When Zach spotted a man that was dressed like a western cowboy, however, he seemed convinced. Walking over to where the man sat, Zachary cleared his throat before speaking and said: "evenin' to you. Happy Halloween, and all that. I suppose I'm here to say 'trick-or-treat'."

Even as the words escaped his lips, he felt absolutely silly. Were Zachary not steeling his scowl, he might have been growing red from embarrassment.

The Sundown Kid pushed up his hat a bit. A bit baffled, but it seemed like he was having fun? Who knew. He looked up, his pale blue eyes met another male's. Maybe learning more about modern holidays would help him understand this more.

"Do... you want some treats?" He asked. He pointed to the bowl next to him. "Take as much as you wish. There is allot."
Fighting back the embarrassment of, again, being someone in their adult life going around and trick-or-treating, Zachary made no initial response. He did, however, lean forward and grab a decent amount of candy before sticking it in the sack that he was given to collect candy within.

"Thanks for the candy, sir!" Zach said almost abruptly. He cleared his throat and attempted to just let the experience come more naturally rather than attempting to force it.

"That is, um... I hope you have a good rest of the Halloween."

"Mmmhm.." He said. "Y'have a goodone, Pardnah..." Sundown said in his tone.

The wandering gunman awaited for others to get their treats.
"Ja! You too!" Zachary said, a little bit of his embarrassment starting to melt away. If this guy was getting into it, then there was no reason for Zach not to. Cos for someone dressed like a cowboy and talk like a cowboy, even in the starting hours of the night where not many people around... well, that was dedication that Zach could appreciate.

Turning to leave, Zachary walked off and supposed that he should seek out more houses and probably pair up with some of his friends should he run into them later that eve.
