"Blaze, stop it." A young woman with red hair dressed as a ninja pulled a bucket of candy away from an orange wyvern, who was trying to eat it. The wyvern snorted sadly. "This isn't for you, have this instead." The woman gave the draconic beast a slab of bacon. The wyvern padded away, chomping and crooning.
With her steed distracted, Cerai sat down outside the fort and waited for trick or treaters. There was a scarecrow on one of the chairs...odd, she didn't put it there. ...Wait, that scarecrow looked too familiar...

"BOO!" Leo jumped up and almost made his sister spill the bucket of candy. That death glare told him he had gotten her good. "...Right." He said. "I'll go around back and stand in the field. I won't scare kids. Promise." Dodging a fist that was aimed for his face, he started toward the back of the fort.
The cat form was part of the costume. Man, was it hard to pull off, but so worth it. Samba had half of a green pair of panty hose over his tail with googly eyes attached, and fake goat horns on his head. He was a chimera. A funny looking one, but who cared. He saw that his adopted brother had claimed his first victim. He didn't know his adopted sister could jump that high. Funny, but he hoped Leo was telling the truth about not going to scare little kids.
He went and sat beside Cerai. She still looked pretty peeved. He smiled, and she smiled back, then went back to the "I can't believe he got me" expression.

Vale walked for some time before coming across what looked to have been a winged beast -- more like a dragon, to be exact. He paced around at a relatively safe distance before he noted other people that were within the vicinity. Cautiously stepping forward, the white-haired elven man made his way to the costumed people -- it looked as if they were also celebrating this 'Halloween' as well.
"Hail there," Valian spoke out, wary of the wyvern that was content on its piece of bacon. "Are you joining in on celebrating the holiday as well?"

Cerai looked up and nodded. "Yes we are. We usually get a good number of trick or treaters. Last year we ran out of candy and had to hand out fruit and crackers...the kids seemed disappointed." The man seemed to be nervous. She turned around and saw Blaze had come back, likely because the front of the fort was more interesting than anywhere else right now. "Don't mind her, she's harmless." Cerai continued. "Completely tame." She patted the wyvern's scaly snout.
Samba's ears perked as Cerai explained that Blaze was harmless. "Yeah, she's only scary if you're a cow, pig, or chicken. Or anything she eats. I take it you're more wary of wyverns than big cats...understandable I guess. Yes, I'm just a cat, I'm not a chimera. It's a costume."
"It seems to be that kind of festivity from what I've observed," Valian said in response to Samba before looking to Cerai. Now that he was assured that the wyvern was of no real threat, he was a little more relaxed. He had seen a number of feats from his own home, so it was not really out of the question.
"I can imagine that the children wouldn't be that pleased. Hopefully you have more than last year to make up for that," Vale said.
"Anyways... I suppose the phrase to say is 'trick-or-treat'?" Vale asked, remembering the last place he visited before here.

Cerai blinked. "Well, I think you're a little old to be trick or treating, but you can have a piece."
*after Leo's part*
"Not going to work again, bro. Go stand in a cornfield somewhere. Maybe you'll scare a few ravens."

Leo ran out yelling at the top of his lungs. Scaring people was funner than he had originally thought.
*after Cerai's comment about ravens*
"Do you mean, laguz or not? Laguz ones would try to peck my eyes out!"

"Do you mean, laguz or not? Laguz ones would try to peck my eyes out!"
Samba laughed. "Well I wouldn't blame them..." The man in front of them looked extremely foreign. He probably didn't know what laguz were. "Laguz are shapeshifters." He explained. "Like me, I'm one." He rose to his hind legs and transformed into a man with cat ears and tail. "This is what I normally look like." Then he shifted back into a cat. "Gonna stay this way for now though."
Snow walked up to a place where she saw several people... And candy! She headed strait for it her tail wagging. She finally walked up to the house "Hi! I can see candy and I was wonder what candy it is... Is it sweet or sour?.... Is it old or new candy?...... She started asking mumbo jumbo questions about the candy
Samba's adopted siblings both looked at him when the little white fox appeared. The fox...obviously a young one, but was she a laguz? He didn't know, she looked different from fox laguz, her ears were longer for one thing. Regardless, she was interested in the candy and it WAS mainly for kids.
"There's a good mixture in there." He said, smiling. "Both sweet and sour, I'm assuming. It's new. If you say what kind you prefer, I'm sure the nice lady will have it, or at least close enough." He gestured toward Cerai with his tail, who still had a confused look on her face like she was wondering the same thing he was about the little fox.

She bounced up and down "Yay! Thanks!" She walked up to the lady "Hey my names snow!"
Cerai looked down at the little fox. "Nice to meet you Snow. What kind of candy do you prefer? I have chocolate, taffy..." She trailed off for a little bit, trying to figure out if this was a fox laguz kid. Snow was pretty small even for a kid, and laguz typically didn't have names like Snow. That sounded more like a name for a pet, even if it did fit her. Her fur was even whiter than her brother's wyvern's Frostbite's scales. "There's caramels in here too, and jelly beans. Take your pick. You can choose one, we don't want to run out too quickly like we did last year."
Leo had said he wasn't going to attempt to scare kids. She trusted him to keep his word, but she shot a warning glance at him anyway.

I strolled up to the porch, grinning, a bag stylized to loom like a pumpkin dangling from my wrists. I was ironically dressed as a werewolf, and stood quietly next to a white fox who was talking to the hosts, realizing they were talking.
"Oh thank you! I love sour and raspberry candies." She grabbed a candy "Thanks for the candy! And I'm guessing your human? I'm an Eevee if you haven't noticed. Not to many people know that much about Pokemon. But trainers, oh they do." She smiled as her white pelt glowed in the moon "You mind if I stay here a bit, I really don't have anywhere to go."
Cerai tilted her head slightly. "Pokemon...oh that sounds kinda familiar. I have a friend who gets to go to a place called The Hub. A lot of different worlds combine there, it boggles my mind. You can only go there if you're chosen by some thing called Master Hand, none of us have been. My friend is...quite famous around these parts, so I'm not surprised he was chosen. He's talked about a yellow rodent that can use lightning attacks called Pikachu and a frog that throws water blades called Greninja, but he hasn't mentioned anything about an Eevee." She paused for a second. "Thanks for the info! Enjoy your candy!"
Thanks! But like I said, may I stay here and chat with you bit? I kind of don't have a home... So I have no where to go, and it's sorta boring, so can I?"
A familiar screech sounded, and now both wyverns were here. Frostbite walked up to his master and nudged him playfully. Leo patted him and pulled out a stick of beef jerky to give to him. Cerai was out of bacon and Blaze was interested in the candy again, so he handed her some of his jerky. She gave it to her.
Leo looked up and saw the boy in the werewolf costume, and then the little fox, apparently an eevee from the world of Pokemon, asked if she could stay. He shrugged. "I suppose you can stay for a bit. At least until we're done here. It will be interesting to tell Ike we met a pokemon too, and one he probably hasn't met." He turned to the werewolf boy and smiled. "Help yourself." He said, pointing at the candy. "But only one piece."

"Oh I already had a peice thank you though" she turned to the girl "So how's life been?"
