Elizabeth Balkan (played by XenoZilla)

Elizabeth Balkan had been rather excited, this year surely she had a foolproof plan to actually enjoy the holiday! Living on an upper floor of an apartment complex had meant so few visitors the past few years and she had to imagine it was simply a matter of no one wanting to brave so many stairs in costume. The solution had seemed simple enough, with the sun well out of view, the vampire had set up in a Parking lot, a few battery operated pumpkins near her car ,the trunk open and lit with flashlights to reveal cauldron shaped containers overflowing with all sorts of treats. Standing by the trunk, she waited in casual attire. A bit unfortunate but she had gone a bit overboard in purchasing sweets and hadn't had time to put together a proper costume.

Chaotic Candy!: Unbeknown to poor Liz, all the candy is cursed from a magic spill in the trunk of her car. Oh dear. Jaydin Byrd (played by FreeJayFly)

On this particular evening, the young rogue had been wandering about an apartment complex to see what this 'trunk-or-treating' was all about. She thought that the phrase was 'trick-or-treat', but with people she passed talking about 'trunk-or-treating', it all just seemed really confusing for this woman that was not from around these parts.

Adjusting the mute lavender cloak that she wore that evening, Jaydin had also been dressed up underneath since her boyfriend suggested that she should.

Under the cloak, Jaydin donned a costume that was rather flamboyant -- it was a kind of peacock blue suit vest with gold frills at both the top and bottom most hems. She also wore a tiered long skirt that alternated between the same kind of peacock blue, an emerald green, and gold. On her face was a mask of a slightly deeper blue that was reminiscent of a china doll with hollowed eyes that only showed the nose and mouth -- only faux rhinestones of purple, yellow, green, and blue lined the right side of the mask face.

Passing a particular open trunk, Jaydin took pause when she saw the the electrical pumpkin decorations as well as cauldrons that were added for the festive effect. Really, this festivity was all too interesting for Jaydin to really pass up -- at the same time, perhaps she would have gone back home and asked her father about it when she returned to the manor later when she returned to Eve. Or maybe she could have asked Myrddin when he was back from his nightly romp as a werewolf.

"Hey, uh... trick-or-treat..." Jaydin greeted, giving a somewhat awkward wave as she approached the car. "You're offering these, right?"

As Jaydin pointed, she leaned in and took up a random treat. Unwrapping it right then and there, she popped it into her mouth without much of a second thought.

--

There was a suppression of a grimace from Jaydin. She disliked the candy, and she just kind of gave a smile to the person that had the trunk of candies out. The waxy texture and taste definitely did not fill Jaydin with confidence to whatever else the woman was offering.

"Well... uh... what is it..." Jaydin seemed to search her thoughts for a brief moment.

"It's, uh... Good Samhain to you," Jaydin said, starting to walk off.

Elizabeth smiled at her first visitor for the night, positively in awe with such a unique costume! The vampire would happily wave in return " Hello, Miss. Yes, go right ahead. " she would gesture to the candy, welcoming the trick or treater to help herself. Pushing silver framed glasses further up the bridge of her nose, she was rather clueless that anything was wrong with the candy. " Hm? Oh! Good Samhain to you as well, Miss. Stay safe." A hand was raised to wave farewell. Such a nice first visitor she thought. She would not try to prevent the guest from leaving, happy enough even with such a short visit.

Confident the night would continue to go well, Elizabeth would remain to wait by her car.
"...Why do I feel like I'm going to look a bit stupid?"

Wonder-Gamer, standing right in front of the first home of the night, pondered on the fact that a 15-year-old, donning a way too lengthy pink-and-black bandanna, a lime green scarf with some red stripes on it, a sleeveless purple shirt, some finger-less gauntlets of the same color, maroon jeans, and some plain leather shoes, would be Trick-or-Treating like it's everyone is judging. He tried to shrug it off, as he walked towards the parking lot. The first thing he noticed was Elizabeth, standing by a car with an open trunk, filled to the brim with candies. Wonder waved in greeting. "Hi there!"

Out of sheer instinct, he got into a dramatic pose, pointing his index finger at Elizabeth. "Know your next line?" He asked, with a smirk on his face. "It's 'What a bizarre costume.' TO YOU!!"

Elizabeth smiled at her second trick-or-treater for the night and waved in return. She felt a bit bad that she did not recognize the costume though all the same admired the effort as well as the courage for a young gentleman to wear any amount of pink color. " Hello there." Still smiling she gestured towards the treats in the trunk, hopeful it was not too bizarre of her to be passing them out from a vehicle rather than a home.

Was momentarily puzzled, her next line? Oh dear, she hadnt studied the script! "Hm?" She smiled a little wider. Such a unique individual. " I'll have to rehearse."
Wonder frowned a little as he returned to a neutral stance. "Awww..."

Upon hearing "rehearse," he felt as if he needed to explain. "Actually, there's no script. It's this thing I'm doing as the character I am. See, one of his many gimmicks is that he predicts what the next opponent says, mostly during a fight." He pulled out a notepad and a pencil and wrote down "0 out of 1." He then decided to take only some candy, as tradition.

As he opened one of the candies' wrappers and placed the treat into his mouth, he chewed with delight. However, he wasn't noticing that he was growing brown fur all over his body, curved claws on his hands-now-paws. "Hey, is it just me or did it just get warmer all of a sudden?" Wonder asked sincerely, scratching the back of his head. He noticed that his nails felt much sharper then before, and checked his hands. Panicking, he investigated his entire person. "Oh God, what happened to me?!"

Rick Sanchez (played by Blue)

The happenings of All Hallow's Eve had been giving Rick a headache. The bright lights, the onslaught of young teens in provocative costumes and the blaring music from parties down the street. It was, Rick mused to himself as he headed out of the garage and down the road, a terrible night to be on earth. The worst part? He was out of booze. Not a drop remained. His past-self was a cold, heartless glutton who'd guzzled his stash, leaving him high and dry on a night where drinking was the only way to pass the time.

Groggily, his feet took him down the street towards the fringe of shops and civilization that lay beyond the houses being attacked by cheerful choruses of 'Trick or treat!'. Eventually, his staggering feet landed him near a corner store and with the sight his sprits lifted. It was whilst making his way through the car park to reach the dingy beacon of late-night alcoholic hope that he spotted the trunk of a car that was open. A young lady was beside the vehicle, handing candy out to each passersby who acknowledged her. With a frown (and little thought), Rick wound over to inspect the scene. Who the hell would think handing out candy from a car was a good idea? Whilst Rick often indulged the thought of conducting business in public as being the opposite of 'shifty', the scene did appear somewhat unusual.

'Hhhhh-hey, Trick or Treat, amirite?' His tone oozed with thick sarcasm, betraying his lack of investment in the holiday. Regardless, he extended a hand in a feigned offer of a handshake before dropping it to swiftly snatchup a piece of candy for the road.

'Hey l-laaAdy- I like your style. Nothing behind closed doors here- all out in the open. I-iif more people did HalloWEEen your way, maybe it wouldn't be so b-b-URP-Aad'

Elizabeth adjusted her glasses and nodded some. " Oh! I see. I'm so terribly sorry, dear." She offered an apologetic smile towards Wonder. Her fault entirely for not keeping up on such things, how embarrassing. She would simply have to throw herself into a bit of an Internet binge to try and update herself on what sorts of things people were into these days. She was a bit lost in thought of how best to remedy the moment when she happened to notice something quite different about Wonder.

"Oh...oh dear..that's.. not supposed to happen is it?" Pursing her lips, she was at a sudden loss for what on Earth had just happened.

Elizabeth gave a curious tilt of her head, eyes moving towards Rick, the third trick-or-treater for the night once he had spoken up. As obvious as the sarcastic tone might have been she would offer a smile albeit a nervous one considering her second trick-or-treater had come down with a rather sudden case of lycanthropy. " Hello, sir. Good Samhain to you." A hand was extended in greeting though pulled back was it was clear there was no actual shaking of hands to be had. Perhaps she had misunderstood the gesture. Such peculiar individuals out and about. Not yet attributing her treats to the source of an unusual problem she offered no objection to the man taking some candy.

" Very kind of you to say." She was fairly certain that was a compliment though she had to wonder if the man was ill. Hm. One issue at a time, she supposed.
