Rose petel has screached and screached for people like her she wants to know the meaning of life she wasn't to know everything about her she only knows half of herself that she is human/fairy/wolf she doesn't know anything about black magic or how to read people's mind she needs help so she goes on a journey. Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.

I don't know if you're looking for this kind of character. Feel free to look over my page and see if you like what you see. He's really OP, but he was my first Character and I've been roleplaying him for over 20 years, so his personality is very fleshed out.
And he holds back a lot until really pushed, so most of the fighting and such would likely be done by you, until you come across something he knows you can't handle.
Side note, I likely will only be able to post once or twice a day. A lot of my attention is in PM's, and forum style roleplay isn't very easy to keep up on with multiple posters when working!
