Upon travelling through the ever morphing lane of houses and buildings, you stumbled upon on what appeared to be a castle, ripped out of a universe you are not familiar with. Outside, the architecture had various flowers and ivy growing on it's walls, and for this particular season, the pathway to it's doors was lined with pumpkins, decorated with an array of screaming, laughing, crying, loathing faces or all sorts. Thanks due to the strong sense of magic in the air, some of the pumpkins even moved and twitched as you made your way to the looming doors of the grand castle that stood before you.
Upon your arrival, you hesitated. There where two bodies of armor standing on guard near the door, and you weren't quite keen if they were amongst the living. You thought that whoever lived within this humble abode must of been of high authority, possibly, even of royal blood.
Shall you knock and chant your words to the unsuspecting resident?
Since having met with a rather amiable giant cat that could speak earlier that evening, Oroth was wondering just what other wonders lie in wait during this particular festivity. She was quite excited, especially since her homelands never experienced festivities such as this -- going door to door, receiving candy just for saying some form of phrase... it was all very new and very exciting.
Finding herself upon a path, they fey woman looked around and seemed a little confused. She saw more pumpkins and different markings from the path she had just been walking.
Moving some locks of pale violet hair from her face, Oroth gave a small sigh and decided that she would follow along the path. It seemed tantalising and ever so curious. The only way to have seen where the path led, after all, was to follow it.
Eventually, the fey princess ended up at the gates of a castle. She stared at it from a distance for a long while. She certainly was not expecting to see a castle way out here... she certainly did not notice it when she was in town not that far away... well... at least it did not feel like it was that far away.
Hesitantly, Oroth rose her hand and knocked upon the doors. From the looks of things, perhaps whoever was here was celebrating the festivities as well.

A cadre of nursemaids and armed guards approached the castle, the latter looking extremely uncomfortable about the other wordly appearance of the castle. In their midst was an almost impossibly delicate little girl. Her hair is so pale white it almost glows under the moon light, and her skin is such a dark grey it is almost black as onyx. She is dressed in an adorably tiny ball gown, complete with a hoop skirt and a masquerade mask bedazzled with gems and feathers.
The entire group approaches the castle, but they allow the little girl to come to the forefront and be the "spokes person" -- this is all for her benefit, after all. But she hesitates, looking at the young princess who had arrived before her. "It's your turn," she says, in a voice so soft it's almost lost in the wind. "I'll wait."
