So I have a few plot ideas for my characters Frisk and Akumu(my newest her name means nightmare).
Ideas for Frisk:
Frisk was kicked out of her home where her brother lives due to him not being able to deal with her problems. Your character finds her on a park bench in the middle of the night and the story goes from there.
Frisk was a bullied girl at school due to how weird it was to have flowers growing out of a person. Your character stands up for her and even fights for her when needed.
Your character has heard rumors about a girl with flowers growing on her body. Interested in why this was your character sets out to find this girl.
For Akumu:
Your character was a witness to a murder that Akumu did of the family member of one who bullied her. Her gaze falls on you and who knows where it goes from here.
Your character was a classmate of Akumu and she suddenly stopped coming to class which worried you so you take off school to head to her house to see if everything was fine.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
