It is I, Sherlock, here with a question that no one has been able to answer in all the years I've been searching for it. This movie was in the early 1990s I believe. The beginning opened up about an egg that was found in a cave or a cellar by a kid (I do not recall if it was a boy or a girl). They brought it with them to their castle and tried to hide it from their father. Then I forget part of it, but later on they go to try and prove that dragons were not evil and try to persuade the father to stop harming them. It was an animated movie. I searched through youtube and found some that other's claimed it to be, but sadly it is not. I've been looking for a total of 3 years now and have yet to find any leads on what it may be. Any assistance in this mystery movie would be appreciated.
