"Rose! This is pure madness! How can you just open the gates like that?! Everything about this evening screams danger!" Rose's bodyguard panicked, frantically preparing themself for a predicted 3 nights of pure chaos. The young CEO could only sigh. She sat there on her bed, looking every two seconds out the window at the bright lights that adorned the gardens. People wandered in and out of the buildings there. Some even dared to venture into the dorms. Would they begin trick-or-treating the rooms, she wondered?
Dr. Hatfield was a stranger to fear, but no stranger at all to curiosity about other people's tech companies. If the doors were to be opened, she would most certainly be there.
She wore her labcoat, over a sharply cut business suit, clipboard in hand. Most would assume it was a costume for the occasion, though in truth, it was simply the way in which she always dressed.
Knocking on Rose's door, she would wait until someone answered, and then utter, "Tech or treat."

There was a lot of houses to cover, and there were even buildings to go to for the festivities of Halloween. All-in-all, they were still things that kept her rather chipper and bubbly throughout the holiday.
Breaking away from her group of friends, Viola had opted to go off on her own for some time. That was when she stumbled across the gates that were open and the building that they typically guarded.
Curiosity got the best of her, of course. Viola went past the gates and toward the building. Maybe they were celebrating Halloween as well! It would be a really good opportunity to show off her zombie nurse costume, too~!
Walking along the pathway, Viola soon went into the building and looked about. She noted a lot of others that were dressed up, or not in some cases. She felt really giddy as she saw that there were indeed people here that were celebrating. Maybe she should have checked it out before retrieving some of her friends, depending.
Smiling to herself, Viola pressed forward, seeing what else there was to this building and those that were within.

Two heads swiftly turned toward the noise, followed by two bodies lunging for the door. One out of instinct, the other out of desperation to escape the other. The latter, Rose, managed to open the door before the other body could even protest. So they were left with the task of retrieving treats. "Hallo there! Hope you're enjoying your night." The CEO smiled warmly, if not awkwardly, waiting for the stumbling baffoon behind her to hurry up and just grab the sweets.
Fiona had only recently arrived in the US, so this was her first Halloween and it was all weird and unusual to her. Her costume was a simple lab coat (her own) and a pair of thick-looking glasses that she bought on impulse. She had drawn her hair into a strict-looking bun, although she herself looked anything but strict with her open, kind face.
She got overwhelmed easily, so about five minutes after the beginning of her trick-and-treating journey, she dodged into a much less decorated and frequented area. She didn't even expect to get any candy, just a respite from all the kids' shouting.
After a while of wandering, she heard a door open and went in that direction, only to see what looked like a pretty calm trick-and-treating scene. She got in line and smiled a shy smile at Rose, not really sure what to say.

Dr. Hatfield offered Rose a smile that was more like a grimace. The woman was not very practiced at social nicities, but she'd try her absolute best. "You must be Ms. Duggens, if I'm not mistaken. How kind of you to open your home to visitors today." She took a treat from the offered bowl, pocketing it without really looking at it. That was when she noticed Viola and Fiona coming down the hall, and shifted slightly to the side to allow the two access to the bowl of treats as well.
"Nice coat," she commented dryly to Fiona. It was impossible to tell with this one if she really thought that, but considering she was also wearing a lab coat, it would be an extremely odd burn to attempt if she didn't like it.

Fiona paused, briefly, before replying to the 'nice coat' comment. She hadn't expected anyone to compliment her costume! "Thank you. You have a nice coat, too." Which probably sounded weird, but Fiona didn't mind. Next, in order not to make the zombie girl feel left out, she turned to her. Regrettably, Fiona didn't know much about zombies, so she completely missed the 'nurse' part. "Nice zombie costume," she commented.
Well, enough, socializing! Suddenly feeling somewhat awkward, she made for the candy bowl and took a single candy. Then, belatedly, she smiled at Rose. "Trick or treat?"
