The quiet, abandoned building was home for him, a monstrous being, permanently eched into the minds of his near victims...
He began his preparations. Power: Check. Lights: Check. Nook and Crannies for jumpscaring from: Check. Candy: Check. That catchphrase you took ages to make: Check. Axe: Check. Plastic torn off limbs: Check, Check, Check. Signs: Check.
He was ready, he set up a few of his signs near the dirt path to the abandoned building which read things like 'HORROR HOUSE THIS WAY! SURVIVE IT AND TAKE THE CANDY REWARDS!' in red marker, he pulled the power lever in the Breaker Room, the lights turned on, flickering and only simply giving you enough light to see five feet in front of you. Spencer moved to the Storage Cupboard, which he had set up a small camera system in, he sat down on his swivel chair and grinned. Spencer's Horror House of the Damned and Dead was now open.

((Rolling die before editing for a proper post to follow the die instructions. C: We don't have a d7 on the drop down options, so I'll be rolling a d8 and counting a natural 8 as 7 if rolled.))
Artemis had always been a fan of Halloween. The lights, the decorations, the dressing up part, the parties... the discounted candy after the holidays were over? Yeah, Halloween was one of those holidays where there was rarely ever a downside.... Sans those that acted upon negative superstition.
There was a particular sign that caught Artemis' attention as she straightened out her costume and made her way over.
Haunted houses were another one of those things that Artemis really enjoyed -- if only for the fact that she really wanted to find a good one that would provide great scares. So far, there had only been one that was around for two years before it got shut down.
Maybe this haunted joint would be better.
Approaching, Artemis invited herself within. There were no ticket booths on the outside, which made her assume that just about all business must have been conducted inside.

Fiona, ever-shy for this being her first-time-ever Halloween, had wandered into areas which contained few screeching kids. And also, apparently, weird abandoned houses.
She stared at the marker. Then she took her fake glasses off, just to make sure she was reading it correctly. 'SURVIVE?' She felt an unpleasant chill down her spine. It felt far too real. An irrational feeling, but she didn't care at that point. Turning on her heel, she hurried into more populated areas. Suddenly, she had stopped minding all the overexcited kids.
