He'd grumble and protest that he didn't have a say--but he'd also revel in the opportunity to learn more about the wider world. Not only because it would help in future diplomatic relations with that nation, but because he genuinely enjoys learning about new cultures. He'd dive headfirst into studies, as long as the teachers could keep up with him and not bore him.

WWYCDI there was something they really wanted but they could not legally acquire it without a great deal of pain and suffering, and/or or painstaking effort?
Stella (played by Dragon_Feather)

She'd forget about what she wants, and think long and hard about what she needs. If it came to suffering for something she needed, she would hesitate but probably accept the fact that life without pain is nothing.

WWYCDI they had to decide between saving something meant for themself or something meant for others.
Depends on how important the things involved were. Unless the other thing was critical to the kingdom or empire at large, or important to family, he'd probably save the thing meant for himself.

WWYCDI they couldn't legally stop their hated enemy from hurting what they care about most?
Go to another dimension.

WWYCDI the were trapped as a slave to the worst wizard in the universe?
Bide his time and steal the wizard's power for himself before he returns to his father's empire.

WWYCDI they were suddenly kissed by someone they had thought hated them up until that moment they were kissed?
Stella (played by Dragon_Feather)

She would probably drop-kick the person and then hug them and apologise. She probably wouldn't have a very calm reaction. She might hang out with that person more but be a bit awkward about it. If they tried to kiss her again, she'd straight up beat the shit outta them.

WWYCDI they were held prisoner and knew how to get out, but it was a 50/50 chance of them surviving and they knew it
Take the chance, of course. Ghaurug is at peace with the eventuality of his own demise, given that he worships a god associated with death and has had two incidents of coming back from the brink of death. He'd rather die free than live in captivity, especially given his history.

WWYCDI they were resuscitated after having a near-death experience?
Contemplate the fact that he is, in fact, mortal, and could actually die at any time--he'd probably completely withdraw from the world until he'd had time to come to terms with it. He knows he'll eventually die but it's an intellectual knowledge only and he believes it will happen far from now in his old age, not in his youth.

WWYCDI their homeland was threatened by conquering invaders?
conquer them right back

what would your character do if he was threatened with a terminal illness
Hire the best healers to figure it out and cure him.

WWYCDI a higher being offered them one wish to change the world somehow?
She would most likely wish to remove herself and any memory of her from the world. Or wish for a way to allow people of the past to continue to exist after death.

WWYCDI they were betrayed by the person they trusted the most?
Xysix? Betray me? As much as I have sacrificed for him I would have no reason left to live. If I could obtain our daughter I would raise her until she was an adult....if not I would simply commit the ritual of sacrifice.

WWYCDI they were captured by their greatest enemy, and the only way to escape was by letting their closest loved one die. If they remain they will die instead.
Placeholder (played by Birdy99)

It is troubling, but I would escape by myself, if it means someone will die in my place. Passing emotional attachment are of no concern to me- I will not allow myself to die before I reach my goal.

WWYCDI they can no longer recall their past memories?
Well, that actually happened once to me! I basically just sat there until something happened, and just went with the flow.

WWYCDI if they became blind?
He would most likely go to his "friend" (and another character of mine) asap... and would always get sassy comments. In the end, they would quite literally become blind leading the blind.

WWYCDI they or someone they loved developed a debilitating disease (like polio, dementia, or epilepsy)?
Placing herself in their shoes, she'd probably assist in their suicide if they asked or, if in the case of dementia, murder them under the assumption that they don't want to be living this way. If they were still able to communicate and wished to continue living, she'd do everything in her power to remain by their side. Care for them, do anything she was asked even if it ran her into the ground.

WWYCDI they were elevated to god status by someone obnoxious?
Elaine Van Freyr (played by 0089)

Being a God, Elaine would likely wipe pigeons from existance, add booze rains to the weather, and instead of getting a hangover after passing out from drinking too much, once you wake up you feel as if someone is blowing raspberries on your tummy. Regarding the obnoxious individual she would merely highfive and thank them before resuming her quest in making a 'better' place.

WWYCDI if they were on a cruise ship that is slowly, but surely sinking as a result of the captain's failure in performing an aileron roll?
He'd use his magic where he could to stave off the sinking for as long as possible, to ensure as many people got off as they could, before allowing his guards to escort himself to the lifeboat reserved for them. After the whole affair was done, he'd personally make sure everyone responsible was held accountable for the disaster to ensure that it could never happen again.

WWYCDI they came into absolute political power of the political body they belong to? (Whether that is a united planet, nation, city-state, kingdom, interstellar power, etc.)
"Well, I would put my people first, of course...but I already put my Puu Crew first~" >_< "Remember, running a country means you're its people's slave. So...what would your chara do if they only had two outfits--maid duds or dancer duds?"
I kind of just want to imagine my big boy Butch only ever having a maid dress or clothes for break dancing, and if that were the only two outfits he owned, he'd wear a soft, pastel pink maid dress most of the time, and love the hell out of it, and only wear the other clothes on laundry day.

WWYCDI they had acquired their dream job, then due to their own incompetence or circumstances, lost it?
