''Shot my chest with a silver bullet, which paralyzed me and kept me from moving.''
"Oh." He logged that away for future use. "I guess that's about it then." He couldn't think of anything else to say or ask...the three heads were pretty distracting.
The cerberus growls at Sterling, drooling. The Cerberus then vanished into a plume of hellfire, melting the medal.
Sterling spun to make sure the coast was clear, that it wasn't sneaking up behind him and then relaxed.
"Ho god, that was...that wasn't fun." He slumped, or would have, except that he didn't want to give too much of an opening to anything else that might be lurking. "Is he gone?"

''Yes, he is. Why are you so freaked out over seeing him?''
"He's a Cerberus! They make meals of Hunters and turn us to bacon bits." He shuddered and then took a deep breath. "Although I'm guessing with him being here, most of the other demons have fled the area."
''He didn't eat you, now did he?''
"No, but that's besides the point." Sterling muttered sourly. "We should keep moving now that we know your friend is still on the other end of your charm."
Elder nodded and changed back to wolf form, heading out. Listening for others that miht try killing him.
Sterling followed at a good pace; keeping an eye open for any other threats. "You know where you're going?" he called ahead to the bladed wolf.
''Somewhere where Hunters won't try to ki-''
His words cut short as gunfire rang out and a flurry of bullets assailed the wolf who fell limp after several rounds, twitching, his pale eyes looking ahead at the crowd that had fired. The flurry ended almost as soon as it had started, and it was a crowd of hunters.

Sterling fumbled for his crossbow and brought it up, but not before fire was turned on him as well. He shot off one bolt before searing pain blossomed in his chest and legs. He gasped as his lungs fought for air, and fell as he lost control over his body. He faceplanted into the dirt, bleeding from his many wounds.
Footsteps came toward him and he felt a boot prod his shoulder. He didn't move, but the boot wedged itself under his shoulder and flipped him over, face up. He grimaced in pain and looked up to see a Hunter standing above him.
"A Hunter who runs with demons, gets a demon's death," the Hunter quoted, and then leveled his gun at Sterling, ready to shoot. Sterling just looked up at the Hunter, in too much pain to even consider fighting back.

Elder pressed the pendsnt in his mouth tightly.
A flurry of vampire bats charged out of the shadows at the hunter, screeching in terror as a dark shadiw casted itself over the city, a loud howl sending fear straight into the spines of the foolish fiends who had little clue that harming the two was a biiig mistake.

Sterling muttered an oath as he heard bats overhead and heard the howl. "Please shoot me," he requested of the Hunter--but the man was stumbling away from him, gun aimed at the sky.
Several of the Hunters now seemed to be shooting at the bats, and the howl of the Cerberus hadn't helped their paranoia. Sterling shuddered and would have rolled onto his stomach to avoid watching the commotion. Instead he just closed his eyes and waited--feeling the vibrations of the ground.

A huge Werepyre ran onto the scene, charging into a hunter and headbutting a few in the chest hard enough to send them into the groud before staring down the one that had shot at the sky. A massive wolf with torn wings and a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. Saliva dribbled down his maw, blood still on his claws from one hunter whos heart had been stabbed clean through.
He stood upon his hind legs, and howled, eyes glowing darkly before he eyed the frightened her again. ''What is there to fear, you fearless hunter?'' He sneered, wiping blood from his mouth, chains rattling. Only a fee hunters remained, the others bleedinf or hurt badly as Elder crawled over to Sterlune and collapsed beside him, blades all but gone, even his horns.

Sterling wasn't dead yet, though if this was what dying felt like, he wasn't keen on repeating the experience. His hand fumbled into his pocket and he withdrew a small tube of paste. Except that when he attempted to smear it on his wounds, they didn't heal. He grimaced and cursed vainly. The stupid stuff didn't work except against demon injuries--not Hunter weapons!
He groaned and watched as the remaining Hunters drew their close-ranged weapons and then attacked as a group. "No-" he croaked, closing his eyes once more.

All that was heard was a loud howl, and sounds of screaming....
When Sterling would open his eyes again, he was wrapped in bandages. Darkness was holding the last remaining fighting hunter by the neck softly, his bloodied maw of a nose against theirs. His bloodshot eyes opened. ''Listen here and listen close. You saw what I did, and I can see you trembling in your mind. Tell me whats stopping me from killing you.'' He hissed, large wings spread. Covered in stabs and gashes, an arm cut badly. ''Tell me.'' Dark hissed, ''Tell me why all demons are evil? I'm a demon angel for crying out loud!''

The Hunter stared death in the eyes, but his resolve was firm--even though he was terrified to his wits end. "D-demons are k-killers. Y-you are n-no exception."
Sterling had no idea when the bandages had got on him, but he figured he had passed out. Somewhere between the screaming and the killing. He was still in pain but he was able to turn to look for Hybrid Elder. He half expected the worst. "H-Hybrid?'

Elder was bandaged too, but out cold.
Dark growled, setting the terrified hunter down. He pulled out a gun, then tossed it at the hunter.
''Then kill me.'' He hissed, snarling. ''Kill what you hate, but kill me knowing that very much like Silenia I will return. To haunt your dreams, until you end your own life. If you can't shoot me then your nothing but a coward posing as a hunter.''

The Hunter pounced on the gun. Without hesitating an iota, he fired the gun at Darkness Light Falls. He fired until it was emptied of its rounds. And then fell with a dagger embedded in his stomach--courtesy of what little strength Sterling could muster.
"S-sorry I couldn't act sooner," he muttered, gasping for breath and fighting back the unconsciousness.
