The charging slimy frog hops at Sterling quickly. Each hop of the fiend left a splat of goop undereath.
''IT'S A....Stupid slime frog Sterling. ....Sterling?'' Dark asked looking where Sterling had been as the frog got closer.

Sterling had gone to the one place where slimy frogs couldn't get to. He'd climbed the nearest tree that would support his weight and clung to the trunk.
"I am not sticking my sword in that oozing slime-blob mass!" Sterling yelled back.
"I am not sticking my sword in that oozing slime-blob mass!" Sterling yelled back.
The frog rams patheticslly into the tree, them looks up at Sterling. It croaked several times, staring him down before it bounded away in a hurry as another creature in the tree eyes Sterling hungryly...
rolled 1d2 and got 1
1. Doom Poodle 2. Magma Hamster
He didn't even see the creature before it dropped down on him in a snarling, writhing mass of fur and teeth and sharp pointed nails.
With a yell, he tumbled out of the tree, holding a tiny fluffy dog that might have otherwise been "man's best friend"...though this certainly was not the case now.
"Stop biting me!" Sterling hollered, throwing the poodle free and chucking a throwing dagger after it.

The throwing dagger narrowly missed as the doom bound doom poodle charges in a barking fury. How could something so cute become this barking terror of the toy size?
Sterling had his sword in hand but the little ball of fluff was far too fast for him. He swung, missed and was greeted with a face full of teeth. He dropped the sword and punched the poodle of doom in the snout. With a yelp it went down and Sterling attempted to pin it down.
rolled 1d2 and got 2
1. Poodle of Doom wiggles free. 2. He succeeds.
The poodle of doom is pinned, yelping and yowling from the punched snout earlier. It yapped furiously, ears flopping about it's face.
Dark was in a laughing fit, maybe at the sight of a full grown man fighting a poodle of doom.

Sterling ignored Darkness as he dealt a killing blow to the poodle of doom, before getting back to his feet.
"It's really not that funny," muttered Sterling, still keeping an eye out for slime frogs.

Dark snorted, getting up.
The skies filled with loud screeching chirps as a flock of flying birds flew away from the marsh in fear. A loud roar resonated about loudly, and a stream of icy fire heads to Sterling from a group of trees close by.

1. It misses Sterling. 2. It hits a tree. 3. It hits a huge group of slime frogs. 4. I hits Sterling.
Sterling looked up as the icy fire blasts past him, missing him but not by much. When the birds screech overhead, he ducks and winces.
"Whatever's coming this way, I really don't want to find out. Come on, let's keep moving."

Dark and Elder nod, and quickly start out. However once couldn't but notice that theres a set of odd hued green eyes watching the trio as they headed out. A bird flies into the bush, and the being in the bush screams, swatting at the bird wildly before running off, or trying to. Their tail tip was glistening in an off-set ray of sun. Elder looks at the bush, confused.
Sterling flinched and turned to regard the bush. Common sense should have told him to stay away from it; instead with sword in hand he circled around it and approached.
"Wait to see if something comes out," Sterling murmured.
"Wait to see if something comes out," Sterling murmured.
Two quick figures snatch up Dark and Elder when Sterling looked away. The two were kidnapped and took to te Vault.
The bush moves again, then a large feminine demon kicks the bird away. The bird was burning with the icy cold fire, and was heading towards Sterling.

1. It hits his stomach. 2. It hits his face. 3. It hits the ground. 4.It hits an attacking slime frog.
Sterling jumped back, out of the way of the bird and then glared at the bush. "Whatever you are..." he paused when he realized Darkness and Elder were no longer in the area.
"Who are you? What are you?" he demanded.
"Who are you? What are you?" he demanded.
The demoness crossed her aged arms, a scowl visible on her face.
''Who in the world are you? Are you a hunter-wannabe? I've seen several hunters but your the pitifulest one I've ever seen so far. Every hunter thats come across me usually has a cross. You have a girly-sword.'' She hissed, arms still crossed. She wore a dress, and had four wings. The demon set was large, while feathered limp ones rests underneath. And she had sharp clawed toes with dull claw hands. A tail ending a half demon spade blade twitched behind her.

Sterling's eyes narrowed. "My name is Sterling; I'm one of the most renowned Hunters in the area. This-" he reached for the silver pendant around his neck and panicked just momentarily when he came up empty. He scowled. "I had a silver pendant from my guild, but it seems I've run afoul of them."
He paused and then added in a wry tone, "Not that you have much to be pointing fingers at. A demon hiding in a bush, how nostalgic. You make the Day Walkers look menacing."

She growled, and shot a icey fireball at him, with the remark ''Take that back!''
rolled 1d2 and got 1
1. Icy fireball hits him. 2.It grazes past his hair.
Sterling's body went numb as the attack hit him square in the chest. His grip on the sword never loosened, but he was incapable now of swinging it.
"Alright, fine. I'm sure corpses cower in fear of you." Pins and needles raced up his arms as feeling began to return. "As for the crosses...clearly those helped."

Jenna growled harder and shot a beam of icy firey at him, or tried to. But her hands were too cold to use it. So she stood there, her hands turned blue from being compltly numb. ''Your just mad because you have nothing besides that lame sword to fight with.'' She scowled, shivering badly from the cold that raced up her body. ''Your so weak, and I overhead my son calling you Silver. Is that your name? You must melt when something burns you.'' Jensara hissed, the cold on her hands still keeping her from using the fire once more.
Sterling laughed humorlessly. "You think I don't wish I had a crossbow in my hands?" Although now that he thought about it, he did have that tranquilizer bolt. He'd have to get her closer though to use it. And he wasn't sure what her reach was.
"What's the problem? You're not getting cold feet too, are you?" He could clench and unclench his hands now, and he slowly lowered his arm to grab for the tranq bolt.
