Darkness growls, his other two heads fangs glistening. ''I've faced one of your kind before, you fools.'' He sneered.

Elder paled, but stood his ground, blades shining as a stray bit of moonlight bounced off his blade and into one hood.

All three Master vampires cackled. "Fools?" replied the Vamp in front of Darkness echoed. "He does realize what he's up against, right? Surely the fools are the ones who dare to take us on. Few can hope to survive a Master. Even fewer can kill us."

Sterling reached for the pendant around his neck and he held it up. "See this? Proof I've killed your kind before." And hesitation or fear he had was gone now. He was focused. "Several Masters have fallen to my stakings."

Elder freaked, his pupils disappering.

Darkness growled, and thusly held up the pendant he wore. ''Then one of you explain how I survived, unable to die. Tortured because my deaths are only temporary. A master vampire bit me once, and I daresay whoever it is will fall to my claws and fury once more.'' He sneered, all his eyes looking at each vampire.

The master vampire in front of Elder threw back his hood and smiled. The dark-haired man in his mid twenties was none other than--

"Relan." Sterling hissed. "You survived after all!"

Relan shrugged. "I wouldn't necessarily say 'survived'. Thanks to these two here, though, I was able to find another path to getting more power." He chuckled. "You thought you were the only one with powers to rival a vampire, Sterling. Well, one-on-one perhaps. Three-on-one, not so much."

Elder turned even more pale, but stood his ground, blades still spread.

Darkness growls. ''It's all your fault I'm incapable of ever stay dead, Relan!'' Dark hissed, the pendant resting back to his neck. ''Why did you turn me into a vampire?!''

Relan laughed at Darkness. "You may not know this, but whoever a Master drinks from, the Master can find at will. How could I have possibly given up the chance of having a demon at my beck and call?" Here his eyes landed on Sterling. "Though I can see at least one other Hunter has attempted the same thing."

"This isn't the same thing, Relan," Sterling snapped.

"Then what do you call it, Sterling?" Relan pressed. "Are you their keeper? Their jailor? You haven't grown soft enough to keep a demon as a pet have you?"

As Relan spoke, the two Master began to inch closer, closing the distance between predator and prey.

Elder went wacko and his tail blade made it's appearance and slashed out at the nearest master in a blur of blackness. Elder hissing loudly, and snarling.

Darkness changes back to his demon form, and attempts to kicks at the master closest to him. There was a chain that dangled around his neck. ''I was escaping you until Elder rescued me. I was friends with Silenia. You know her, don't you?''

Relan dodged the tail blade, having kept a careful distance between him and Elder. Though the second Master was not so lucky and hissed in pain.

The third master, descending on Darkness dodges the kick. Relan snorted at the comment.

"Silenia? Lovely creature that it is, sadly I didn't have time to convince it to come with me." Relan launched himself forward then, directly at Elder.

Sterling took two steps to the side and ran his blade through the second master vamp. The creature howled in pain and agony as Sterling withdrew the blade and then beheaded it--turning it to ash. "You are not all powerful, Relan. Your kind can be killed!"

Elder jabbed at Relan with his bladed claws, snarling loudly as he lunged, his bladed tail also stabbing forward. The razor sharp blades glinted, long enough to dig into flesh.

Darkness' tail swatted at the third vampire master before he charged at them with his crooked wickedly sharp horns lowered.

Jenna had came, but watched from the shadows. Holding something in her hand..

Sterling never wasted time once the master vamp was ashed. He turned in time to see Relan getting attacked by Elder.

Relan hissed in pain as Elder's claws dug into his flesh, but rather than recoiling from the pain, he went towards the source. "You're mine, now." He opened his jaws to reveal pointed fangs and aimed for Elder's neck. He just needed one bite.

The master vampire attacking Darkness jumped into the air, soaring over Darkness' horns with a cackle. "You'll need to try harder than that, werepyre!"

Elder's eyes turn dark purple forcefully yanks his up fast enough for his elbow blades to go straight up tp Relans face.

Dark just grunts as his tail whips out and grabs the vampire, the spikes digging into their body.

Sterling felt something watching them and he eyed their surroundings. Darkness and Elder seemed capable of handling themselves against the Master Vampires. With his sword ready, he headed for the place where he felt he was being watched from.

Relan yells in pain as the elbow blade rams into his face. Skin slices open and he bleeds, but he grabs Elder's arm just above the elbow and tries to pin it--still intent on getting to the neck. He'll die trying if he has to.

The third Master vampire shrieks as the tail hits him solidly. And then he's crashing down onto Darkness' body. He scrambles for purchase.

Elders arm gets pinned and he hissed, eyes still dark purple as he tries to swipe with his free hand.

Darkness moves in a way that the poor vamp happens to get impaled onto his horns.

Jenna waves at Sterling, holding a crossbow.

Sterling ducks to the side, out of the crossbow's immediate path. "What are you doing here?"

The shriek of the vampire getting impaled turns his head however and he catches a plume of ash drifting over Darkness' body. One left.

Relan goes in for the kill. Or the turn. Or whichever. He bites deep into Elder's neck, drinking greedily the bladed man's blood. If Elder is watching, he'll see that Relan's wounds began to heal and close up.

Elder screeches in pain, and his bladed tail attemps to stab into Relans heart as Elder kicks in great pain. Darkness turns around, growling at Relan before he sneaks up beside the master vampire and tabs his shoulder with ash on his horns.

The blade goes through Relan's heart although attached as he is to Elder's neck--it's not a good thing. A cycle of death and dying begins.

Sterling can't make out what is happening and with a wary look at Jensara, he dashes back towards Darkness and Elder.

Elder cringes in great pain still, his actions still faltering. ''If..I die...Your going with me!'' Elder hissed weakly. The purple color was fading fast, his blood loss hitting him hard. But the will to survive kept the bladed tail in Relans heart. Darkness would have reacted, but he saw no hope in trying to free the injured Elder, whos feirce gaze was still strong from his mismatched eyes. ''I lost my fam..ily...I lost eve..rything. This is nothing..more than me....Joining them..'' He sneered, stabbing his other hand into Relan.

Relan might have been able to stave off immediate death for that long, but with the addition of Elder's claws, he was no match for it. His jaw slackened and then Sterling was diving between Darkness' paws to crouch beside Elder.

"Elder? Elder!" He watched as Relan turned to ash, revealing the fang marks buried deep into Elder's neck. "Hang in there, man, hang in there."

Sterling reached into his pocket and pulled out the ointment. "It's the last I have..." but thank God he hadn't used it beforehand.

Elder winces, smiling a bit before he passed out from blood loss, arms falling to his sides. The blades had broken, his tail blade snapped in half with the edges clean off. He was already pale, and barely breathing.

''Is he going to be ok?'' Dark whined. ''Relan bit him pretty badly....Which is what happened to me only I was able to get away afterwards. I was sicks for weeks before I found out what had happened to me..So do those turned by vampire masters stay vampires after the master that turned them dies?''

Sterling grimaced. "Yes. Killing the Master vampire only eliminates the tracking and mental control it has over its turnee. But fortunately, I have this." He squeezed the remaining paste from the tube into his hand and then applied it to the bite wound. "A friend of mine made it, and it works wonders against vampire bites."

He pulled his hand away and sure enough the bite wound was already healing. "It also counters whatever turns people into vampires...so Elder should be back to his normal self. Once he recovers. If he recovers." He hesitated and then turned to Darkness. "I know you drink blood--but back can you give it away as well?"
