I swear, there isn't nearly enough of these things going on...
A Necromancer has cursed the village known as Eratoff with plentiful undead, and made it's forests surrounding it haunted. It was a mostly peaceful woodland village with oaken and stone houses, until the Necromancer rose a small army around it's walls.
Now the Jarl is calling for aid from the nearby regions, to first meet him in the village, and then seek out the "The Elden of The Forest" to the north to help them along their path. Time grows short, for every full and new moon, the undead rise again, and the walls can only hold for so long...
Info :
This is a Low-Fantasy RP, specifically where spell casters are quite uncommon, often regarded in villages with suspicion, fear, or recognized as insane individuals or nutty hermits. Although Court-Wizards and Miracle performing priests are a thing, they are mostly exempt from this practice.
Alchemists also get some of the same treatment, some giving strange looks to people who drink and brew potions.
Werewolves and Vampires are not recognized as friendly individuals, and some townsfolk may even attempt to drive them out, even if they have good intentions.
MORE INFO :
I am looking for about 3 more players for this. I can bump it up to four or five if I feel like I'll be able to handle that large of a group.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Renaissance
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
Interested!
I'm interested too, again X)
Alright then. Probably after one more person joins, we can start. Any questions at all?
I'd love to play using Zero here.
(Profile is under extreme reconstruction, so I'm afraid Zero's appearance and so on will have to be found out in the action)

Oh, I would be interested too, if it's not too late - although, I haven't quite finished the character bio yet (only one of the two knights is illustrated!), so it's up to you.

Dude, your character design is awesome. Did you do your art?
Alright, we've got the players, now I'll start this later, got stuff to do first.

Oh, thank you kindly; but no, alas. Heh, I wish I could take sole credit! I saw this rp at very short notice so I just modified and repainted a conceptual sketch someone else did, and then painted up the headshot myself.
And since the rp is starting already, I think I may have to scrap the second knight for time, and just use the Sable Raven Knight by himself.
Whoa, that skipped ahead quite quickly!
I was hoping to explore the town a bit, interact with the Hanged Man, Zero and Cori, establish the browbeaten townsfolk so we have something to care about defending, introduce the Sable Knight to the Jarl and some other stuff before we dived right into the mission-briefing with a fellowship that hasn't met each other yet!

Oh... yeah. Eh crap. Sorry about that. Got a little carried away. -.o
I totally fixed the post so you can do that now.

Technically the order is Zero before Cori.
If you don't mind, I think I might go ahead and post.
Here's the new OOC discussion thread. About time I put one up anyways.

I'm guessing it wouldn't be a naga-friendly setting even if they existed? I feel like there wouldn't be any harm asking to see even though all signs from the OP would point to that being a "no".
All the RPers you have in your story so far look really skillful though, if you ever do something more high fantasy I'd love to join in.

In this sort of setting, dwarves, elves, humans, and other beings would usually stick to their own societies, even though mercenaries are an entirely different story. If you would of asked earlier when I had another player slot open, I might have been able to fit you in somehow, but yeah it's a no, already passed the character limit already. Sorry.
Though, I will keep you in mind if I ever do another high fantasy RP on here.

All good, and thanks for the quick response.
