"I think it 's okay now... And... Can Max defend his mind from mind attacks? Because I can sense people 's emotions, but when I tried it on him... I just didn 't sense anything..."

Alice shrugged. "I don't know. He has a few gemstones in his armor, including the one on his helm that does that. I don't know much about magic, so I'm just making guesses, but he might've gotten that from one of the gems, seeing as how he usually wears his armor for long periods of time."

"I didn 't think about that... Yeah it definitely is one of those gems," he said.

"Well, he has a collection of gems in his armor, most are hidden so they won't break or be targeted directly."

"That is not a bad strategy... But anyway, what is taking Max for so long? Oh, wait, I know. He travelled to the waterfalls..." he said jokingly.

Alice laughed. "It takes him a while with all that hair. I swear he was a werewolf when I first met him."

Drago laughed too.
"Yeah... I think I would do the same..."
He laughed again.

Max finally came back out. "Now I know you two were talking about me."

"Good job for noticing," Drago said jokingly.

Alice turned and looked at him. "Yeah, we were taking about you bear." Alice said jokingy.

He looked on Max and chuckled a little bit under his hood.

Max sighed and shook his head. "So what all did she tell you?" Max asked him.

"Not much. About how you met... And abot these gems, you have in armor. That is a good thing. Because, I tried to sense your emotions in the forest, but I couldn 't do it... Now I know why," he said, and laughed a little bit.

Max looked over at her for a second before grabbing a chair to sit. "So, how much did she tell you about how we met?"

"Only that you saved her, and that there was a gang problem. That 's all," Drago told him.

Max chuckled. "Yeah, she ended up on their hit list after she tried to stop them from ribbing someone." Max told him.

"Woah," Drago said and chuckled too.
Not bad...

"Yeah, so long story short, they tried to kill her, I saved her, she helped me make my armor and hammer and I cleared them out of town" Max said

Drago nodded.
"And... Max? Where will we be going next?" Drago asked.

"Well, there's a village up in the mountains that needs some help, but I kinda need to make some repairs and gather supplies, which will take a couple of days." Max told him, much to Alice's displeasure, but she tried not to show it.
