Mousefeather: "What? I was following you." he mewed with laughter.
Dovelight: "Okay, Stormpaw. Rest up for tomorrow nights big journey." she said quietly.

stormpaw went to her bed of moss in the medicine cat's den since she would be the future medicine cat she curled up and fell asleep in a few minutes.

Dovelight saw that she was asleep 😴 and curled up in her own nest and fell asleep.

Mousefeather decided that they were going to hunt right where they were.
(We left Lightpaw standing in the middle of the camp!)

(poor lightpaw) lightpaw decided to follow his mentor andhis father since he had nothing better to do he left the camp followed their sent and soon caught up to them.

Mouse feather turned around and saw his son standing there "Welcome to the hunting party, Lightpaw! Let's see who can find a piece of prey first."

"okay" he said and scanned the area for prey, he caught the sent of something he didn't know what it was it wasn't a mouse or a rat it was something bigger then that.

"Found something yet, Lightpaw?" Mousefeather asked. "I think I smell a rabbit."

lightpaw knew what the scent was now and he saw the rabbit a few mouse-lengths away he got into the hunter's crouch and made sure the wind wasn't giving him away when he was sure it wasn't he pounced into the rabbit and quickly bit it's neck and it was dead, he then walked over to his father with the prey in his jaws "i caught it before you did" he paused for a moment "I think we should tell Darkstar to tell shadowclan it was a accident because i caught it on there side of the forrest i was so caught up in catching it that i didn't realize i was on shadowclan territory" he said.

Mousefeather sniffed the rabbit and found that it did smell strongly of Shadow Clan, but they were no where near the border. "We do have to report this to Darkstar because SHADOWCLAN HAS BEEN HUNTING ON OUR TERRITORY!!!!"

"should we bring the rabbit?" he asked as he followed his father as they raced back to camp.

"Of course, go run back and get it." Mousefeather replied, still running to the camp.

lightpaw ran back and got the rabbit then ran back to the camp.

"Darkstar, Lightpaw killed a rabbit in our territory and it smells strongly of Shadowclan. Come and sniff." Mousefeather invited.

lightpaw set the rabbit down for darkstar to sniff it.

Darkstar bent down to sniff the rabbit and then shot up, automatically smelling it. He decided to postpone asking until the next gathering.

"what should we do with the rabbit now?" lightpaw asked.

"Put it on the fresh-kill pile, Lighpaw, we can't preserve it until the full moon, or just eat it. It's time for bed, anyways." Mousefeather yawned.

lightpaw decided to eat the rabbit since he didn't eat yet that day after he was done he went to his bed of moss in the apprentices den.

Mousefeather went to his bed in the warrior den and fell asleep.

lightpaw soon fell asleep.
