Dovelight hurried over to the elder's den and watched the procedure. "How do you feel, Swifteye?" she asked

"Come on, Lightpaw, we need to be training right now." Mousefeather said, giving a worried glance at his mother.

"okay" lightpaw said and began to leave the elder's den "well I'm quite hungry besides that and my cough i'm fine" swifteye said.

HollyStorm got bored so, she decided she was a-ok and got up. She felt fine so ehh she left the bed

unfortunately for Hollystorm Swifteye still had great eye sight so she saw her.

She realized on her her clan mates, SwiftEye to be exact, was staring at her. She uncomfortably looked at her back

(staring contest who will win Hollystorm or Swifteye?) "Ow I think I have a tick in my fur" Sunfang said.

She slowly backed away still staring

Swifteye was not going to lose she had won many staring contests with kits since she became a elder she wasn't going to lose to a warrior.

Honestly HollyStorm didn't even know what was going on but she still stared.

swifteye finally gave up and stopped starring at hollystorm.

After SwiftEye suddenly stopped she didn't know what to do.. she didn't know what was going on so, she kept staring

"how do i get ticks out of fur?" stormpaw asked dovelight.

"Do you know what mouse bile is?" Dovelight asked, smiling mischievously.

"Alright, Lightpaw, what has Hollystorm taught you?" Mousefeather asked.

"uh...... no I don't think I want to know either" stormpaw said,
"she has taught me how to hunt but hasn't taught me any fighting moves" lightpaw said.

"Well, you are going to learn. Come with me." she said, walking to a certain part of her den and holding her breath,

Mousefeather told him. "Which would you rather, learn to fight or tune your skills to hunt?"

stormpaw followed her mentor and held her breath it smelled bad in this part of the den,
"well both are equally important, I guess I want to learn some fighting moves" lightpaw said.

(Mind if I join with Ash?)

(I don't mind at all. Jump right in!)
"This is mouse bile. Ticks hate it as much as we do. The moss is soaked with it. Grab a stick and put it on the ticks. They will jump right off." Dovelight said, pawing a stick towards him.


"Okay, then, mimic my moves." Mousefeather said, then jabbed at the air, sharply.

Stormpaw did as she was told as did Lightpaw.

The ticks fell off of Sunfang and Mousefeather smiled appreciatively and told Lightoaw to attack him.
