Mouse feather waited for Darkstar to speak. "I've been talking with ShadowClan's leader and I've decided, I'm going to be ShadowClan's deputy." he looked Emily at all of the cats.

She heard that one thing and her ears perked. She turned around to see DarkStar. She looked at her leader "What?! You can't! You have your own Clan!!! You can't just leave!" She said angrily

"YOU JUST WANT TO DESTORY THUNDERCLAN FOREVER A WARRIOR FROM STARCLAN NAMED DUSTFEATHER TOLD ME SO AT THE MOONPOOL" stormpaw yelled not caring about the consequences at the moment, "what he can't do that right it's not in the warrior code right?" lightpaw asked his mentor.

"No he can't do that! Nobody should abandon their own clan. " She said with anger

"but If he leaves then how many lives will dad get how many lives does darkstar have left anyway?" stormpaw asked dovelight.

"Dark star is on his last life, that's why he is leaving. He should die soon. But not soon enough. It is my belief that your father will get eight lives." Dovelight said, glaring at him.
Mouse feather looked at his former leader in shock.

He looked to Blackpaw and nodded. Then he stared at Darkstar. He was unsure of what to do....

"Well, that was a shocking turn of events. Do you know Hollystorm?" Blackpaw asked.

He shook his head. "No I don't know Hollystorm." He said and looked to Blackpaw.

"Oh, because she's in your clan and she just came over here and proclaimed me part of Shadowclan. That was insulting." he said.

He looked down. "I don't think I've met everyone in ThunderClan." He said.

"Oh, okay." Blackpaw said, no questions asked.

He looked down. And thought to himself.

A dark cloud covered the moon and the Gathering was over. Mousefeather led the Clan back to the camp.

"I told you this would happen" stormpaw said. (Oh idea Lightpaw stormpaw and ashpaw go to shadowclan to try and get rid of darkstar so they sneak out of camp when everyone is asleep)

(Sweet. We'd have to do it in the morning, tho, cuz that's when shadow is on.)
Mousefeather hopped up on the meeting place. "I have some terrible news." he started, because the whole clan was gathering anyways. He then related all that had happened that night.

everyone else in the clan was shocked "who will be the next deputy" some asked "why would darkstar do this?" others said "this isn't the first time a leader abandoned their clan back at the old forest Pinestar a learder from thunderclan moons ago left to be a kittypet when he had one life left" one of the elder's said.

(Is he supposed to pick a deputy now, or after he becomes a leader. It's already at the "height of the moon.")

(after he becomes leader and it has to be done before moonhigh and they have to have mentored at least one apprentice)
