Mousestar slept in his den

He kept watch. His excitement helped him stay awake. Ashheart was so happy that he was made a warrior.

Mousestar was dreaming about catching a huge mouse

After a while, he struggled to stay awake.

Mousestar turned over in his sleep

-At Dawn.-
When dawn arrived, he waited for the patrol to come out as his tail waved, patiently. The excitement had helped him stay awake this whole time. And the fact that he wanted to do a good job with the vigil.

Mousestar woke up and relieved Ashheart of his duty.

He went happily to the warriors' den and tried to sleep.

Mousestar put another cat on duty and grabbed something to eat

Ashheart fell asleep, happily.

Mousestar ate part of a squirrel

He had no dream.

Mousestar wondered whether to save some for Ashheart, if he would be up soon

He woke up, feeling refreshed and walked out. He smiled at Mousestar.

Mousestar pushed the rest of the squirrel towards him, "Eat up."

"Thanks." He said and ate the rest of the squirrel.

"What do you plan on doing?"

"Go out hunting." He said, looking at the fresh-kill pile, then back at Mousestar with a smile.
