Emperia is a fantasy/asian based kingdom, with a Capital city of Kenjiro! However, after the Emperor had a meeting with a mysterious Noble from a far off land he came down with a mysterious illness! Soon after his royal guards, maid staff, and cooks all came down with it as well and it only spread further from there! Mages who come to try and help fall victim as do clerics and medicine men.... soon the entire Kingdom is over run with plagued out citizens and nobles.
Other Kingdoms don't help out, Stormhold the Dwarven nation who boarder Emperia just across the Sea of Arms have closed their ports to Emperia refugees, and sink any Emperian ships trying to flee to safety! And Elicor (Elves) sends Green and Gold Bannered Knights to murder villages in Northern Emperia to try to stop the Plague from crossing the Sea of Arms.
White Crown (Arian Humans) also send over their warriors to set the southern half of the Kingdom on fire in an attempt to burn the plague away! And this is where Arkusada is a Samurai in a village known as Honne comes in... When the Knights of Elicor, and the Warriors of White Crown try to murder and burn away the plagued civilians it is up to a small group of Samurai to try and fight not only the plague but the forging invaders!

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.

More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

Someone from another plane, world, or dimension. Usually someone who, for whatever reason, cannot go home, or is trying to get home after becoming lost in time and/or space.
