looking for: a small RP group of maybe 5-7 people
This is it. You were bitten, and you'll soon be overpowered by the same parasites that caused the shell of a human that attacked you to bite in the first place. It will take a number of days--maybe seven, maybe seventy--for the parasite to populate and eventually overwhelm your body. But your camp won't let you die quietly. Peacefully. No, they have plans for you.
You, despite being on the verge of losing control of your own body, are incredibly valuable now. The damage has been done. Nothing worse can happen to you. You are, in a sense, immune. Until the parasites take over anyway. As such, you have been assigned to an elimination squadron consisting of camp members who have all been bitten. You are given a "starter pack"--food, canteens, and other necessities--and are being sent away from the camp. And not only so you can get away from it before you turn and bite a fellow survivor. Your task? Kill as many zombies as you possibly can before you join their ranks.
Of course, being torn apart by zombies isn't your only concern. Some people in the squadron aren't so noble as the camp makes these "heroes" out to be. You're already dead, or at least you will be soon, so what's stopping the others from killing you for your resources so they can survive for just a bit longer?

This is the first time I've made a thread like this on this website and I'm not sure what to request, so maybe post a character biography (or a link to one of your character profiles?) so I can check out how well the character will fit!
If I'm missing vital information please let me know; I'm very new to this.
Quick plot background info: A form of parasite has evolved to take over humans. A parasite will inhabit a human host, reproduce, and once there are enough of them in one body they will take over the human and control it. It takes a number of days for people to be taken over fully, but they will experience symptoms up until the day they make the switch from a conscious person to an unconscious hunk of meat piloted by parasites.
Symptoms: excessive salivating, lack of appetite/thirst, excessive eye watering, tremors/spasms, stiffness of joints/inability to move limbs, aching/burning/general pain in stomach or head. Late-stage symptoms include body parts moving on their own, necrosis of extremities, sudden jump from lacking appetite to insatiable hunger, difficulty comprehending words/communicating
Types of characters I'm looking for: Any so long as they're bitten! You could pick a heroic, "this is my duty, this is my fate" type person, or someone who is angry they were bitten and so they take it out on the zombies. Just give me a brief idea of what roll you want your character to play in the squadron.

Thanks! I didn't want to make a plot too deep to work with, just a little something to start the RP off and set it on its course. I thought this was an interesting idea, and it makes me happy to know you think so too!
