So guys, hello. I'm looking for someone to do a modern/fantasy/romantic (if desired) rp. So here's the story behind it:
Magic is an art, but a difficult art to master. Some people learn magic by going to schools for magic while others are born with it naturally. Magic is accepted in the world, but there are as with anything, extremist groups who hate those who uses magic. Big name magicians, like the ones you'd see the n a Vegas hotel, are often looked down upon by those who know real magic. The only exception is if the magician is known that they were taught or born with magic. Whether magic is learn through birth or by training at one of the seven schools across the world, they are submitted to a society who keeps track of who knows magic in the world. There are multiple types of magic one can learn, and they are:
Metamagic: This magic focuses on changing into animals and creatures. The range of creatures one can change into varies on skill. Basic users can change into small animals like dogs, cats, weasels, ect... Most users can change into any living animal. While few, the expert users can break the wall of reality and can change into mythical creature like dragons, griffons, manticores, ect... Although not allowed in public, there are certain circumstances where one may change into a mythical beast in public.
Elemagic: Elemagic is magic that uses the elements, fire, water, earth, air, and electricity. They can manipulate and control these elements. But they can only control so much before it literally starts to tear them apart. So no one can control an entire city's power supply or an entire mountain or other things relating to the elements.
Metalimagic: Metalimagic isagic than can control metals. They can modify their bodies using metal and even help build buildings and other metal based things. Seeing as how most buildings are made of metal, spells have been put on them to prevent users from tearing apart buildings.
Mentamagic: Mentamagic is magic focusing on the mind. They can use this to make people see something that's not there, make them look like someone else to someone, or just read minds. Users are prohibited from using this magic to make powerful leader do evil thing or make people commit crimes or kill themselves.
Now that all that's out the way, here's the rest. Characters can use one type of magic, the only exception is if a child is born and both parents use two different types of magic. The amount of combat is depending on what you want. It is modern, so anything that's used today can be in the rp. And I'm fine with anything (cursing, smut, ect...) other than rape and child killing. And lastly, this will be done in PM.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
