Leaping to the final rooftop in near absolute silence. It had began to lightly drizzle, flipping up the to his interwoven layered trenchcoat, he took a gentle whiff at the air. Looking down he found his targets seemingly checking on a construed police vehicle. He had been following the Bonnie & Clyde pair for a few days now, he believed it was nigh time to engage the pair. Seeing them attempt to leave the scene...he would not loose them so easily.
Almost immediately as they began to leave, they heard gunshots, shortly followed by screams. Phantom stopped and turned around.
"Wait. Someone's still in the area. It's most likely the one who did this. Hurry, or we'll miss them." he instructed before taking off through the nearby alleyway in search of the source of the disturbance.

"They sure aren't subtle..." Weaver followed Phantom, simultaneously attempting to use her threads to locate the culprit.
Her threads picked up the heartbeat of someone above them, on a nearby building. Probably a hero or something... She decided not to tell Phantom and instead kept running.

A plethora of single shot gun fire ringing through the air, Shakura snapped his neck in the resounding direction almost as fast as the sound waves blanketed his ears. Seeing the anonymous pair flee off into the shadows that was the nearest alley way, he surmised their next destination was the same as his own.
Turning a complete 180°, he took another sniff at the air. Bending at the knees, Shakura pushed off with moderate strength. Now gliding through the air he landed on an adjacent roof easily clearing the gap, his movements muffled by the pitter-patter of drizzling rain. Smelling blood emanating from the same direction he had gunshots, Shakura hurried his pace.

Arriving at the scene just moments after the perpetrator had left, Phantom and Weaver inspected the next crime scene. A dead man and a woman who appeared as though she had witnessed something terribly gruesome. The woman looked hysterical. Phantom approached the front of the car and leaned forwards so the woman could hear him.
"Where is the one responsible for this?" he asked without any sympathy in his words. The woman's hysteria clouded her mind, and she was unable to answer his question.
Her fear increased two-fold as Phantom stood straight and proceeded to pull out a pistol. He wasted no time in aiming it at her and firing three shots. Two of them pierced her neck, and the final one entered through her eye. Her head slumped down as her life force was extinguished.
As Phantom was about to holster his pistol, the man suddenly stirred. He appeared to not be dead, but unconscious. Phantom watched for signs of him waking up, but it appeared as though he was just recently attacked.
So, as with the woman, Phantom emptied his clip into him. After reloading, he holstered the gun and turned to Weaver.
"Have you found them yet?" he asked.

Arriving behind the pair of skilled killers the Rowena watched them silently from the shadows and looked at the bodies lying within the car they stood by
"My my well done Godrick sending a few of your students to attract my targets of interest...you should be proud of them for their success...."
With that she pulls out a small arm band and taps a few buttons on it.
Within the two bodies two micro chips began to blink rapidly before the bodies themselves exploded as well as the car...incinerating anything within a five foot radius.

Everything was dark...
...and it was Weaver's fault.
At the last second, she had formed a ball made of thread around them that protected Phantom and herself from the heat. Sweat had coated her entire body and she was breathing heavily, as if she had run a marathon.
Weaver used her threads to pull the ball away from its current position and then released it.
"What in the hell was that?!" she exclaimed.
Taking a look at the fiery debris, she deduced that it was most likely the car that had caused the explosion. But why? Was there a fuel leak? Did one of Phantom's bullets come into contact with the gas tank somehow?

"I know what you're thinking, and you're wrong. My bullets never hit the gas tank, I'm not as careless as that." he said, frankly disappointed that Weaver considered the possibility of him making a mistake.
"I'm not sure what happened, but we should move on. The whole street no doubt heard that explosion. Did you locate the killer?" he asked again.

Stepping out from the shadows Rowena smiles from under her dark blue hood
"The girl your looking for is named Lisa coral...though those that know her like to call her Alice seeing as the poor girl had a wonderfland gimmick going for her...poor girl really to disappear out of the blue and to re appear as mad as a hatter...dad really "
She laughs as she smiles at the duo, her luminescent blue eyes shining like a beacon on the night.

Phantom immediately aimed his pistol at her.
"And I take it you're the one who just tried to kill us?" he asked, waiting for a reason to pull the trigger. He made a subtle motion with his finger, just a slight twitch of the pinky. It was a signal to Weaver to get out of range for the fight. Her threads would be able to pick up the motion, no matter how slight, and he knew that.

" now now there is no need for violence my dear boy enough blood has been spilled this night...yes you where my targets but not in the way you think...I meant not to kill you but I merely observed you...as for that explosion it was meant to get rid of the bodies...tying up loose ends If you will...you both where simply in the way"
Weaver felt the motion through her threads and slowly walked backwards into the shadows, trying to stay inconspicuous. Once there, she used a thread to hoist herself up to a nearby rooftop where she had a good view of them both.
She then streched a thread out over the area and connected it to her pinky, thus enabling her to "see" everything in the area.

"Ya know lad sometimes the mind can play tricks on the eyes...for example..take another look at yer gun there and tell me what ya see"
She nods to the former gun in his hand that now appears no more that a squirt gun in his palm.
"Strange thing the mind ain't it?"

"Strange thing the mind ain't it?"
(Wait, did you actually change it into a squirt gun? Or is it just a trick you're playing on him?)
(It's a mind trick...anything involving the mind including perception she can change and make increasingly convincing and real looking...basically she plays mind games...keep in mind there are still three others theyve yet to meet)
Weaver looked down at the both of them, listening to the conversation through the string. Magic tricks, huh? How original, Miss Blaine. Well it's a good thing that I have a few of my own.
Let's hope Phantom still speaks string. She moved her fingers slightly, sending Phantom a secret message through the string: Shoot the gun.

Phantom looked down at the gun, and was about to throw it away when he received a message from Weaver through her string.
He wasted no time in firing the gun at her anyway.

"Hmmm seems like your girlfriend wants me dead...so I guess it's time for me to take my leave"
She bows lightly to the two before her before fading into the shadows behind her as the bullet flies by her.

Stopping on the adjacent roof, an explosion went off. Tucking himself against the nearest smoke chimney, he reached up placing two fingers to his temple. Accessing his mutagen he scanned the area for sentient minds. Finding his duo blimp on his 'radar', another mind could also be felt but there was a heavy fog clouding this person's thoughts, hard to get a clear bead.
Getting ready to engage, Shakura flinched in his spot as it felt like a 'giant spider web' of sorts blanketed the area. Unable to visibly see them Shakura felt their presence about his person and opted not to touch them. Finding the ones mind who was generating these trappings, Shakura attempted to shut down her mind by overloading her senses....He needed answers and he would have them now.
