our story begins deep in an unnamed wood, where civilization has no contact with the ancient forces of nature. a wolf wanders aimlessly through the labyrinth of trees, an air of importance exuding from his form. red eyes search ahead of him, his jaw set and determined. he is not sneaking, but rather the opposite, laying his paws loudly on the fallen leaves, intent on alerting anything nearby of his presence. the blue fur atop his head rustles in a draft.
