Hi, I'm Kuroki, username to the left, and um, an awkward greetings to all of you. So I'll start off by, explaining my username, the origin is obviously Japanese, it derives from the kanji 黒 (kuro) meaning black and 木 (ki) meaning tree, or wood. I got a lot of the inspiration from a tree that was just a bit aways from my backyard when I was little, it was on a hill and every time shadows would fall upon it the wood was so dark it looked almost black, to me at least. I am half Japanese and half American (Though born in America) and that is also another kind of inspiration I got for the username, my real name is Heather though. I don't know what else to say but I'll answer questions if you have any.
Hi Kuroki, welcome to RPR!
Can I just say how much I love your name? Partly because of how awesome it sounds and partly because its the name of two of some of my favorite characters in anime and manga: Tomoko from Watamote and Koumori from Murcielago. And you are half-japanese which is cool!
We should totally do a roleplay sometime >~<

Hello kuroki! I hope you have a fun time here on RPR!
Hi! Can I just say wow. I love your name. Absolutely love it. I love how you were inspired by a tree, and decided to say it in Japenese! It's amazing! Inspiration comes in so many ways, and you decided to create something awsome with it. It's so creative! Anyways Welcome to RPR! Hope you make any freinds.
Hello and welcome to RPR! I hope you make lots of friends and enjoy your time here!

Tomoko from Watamote
You said WATAMOTE!!!!!
No offense, not that I didn't like WataMote but... I was cringing myself to death the whole way through, though I can relate, I am living in Japan right now and since the "Otaku" label, when mentioned, is looked down upon. It gets hard to hide sometimes.
I thought about Kasumi, like mist (霞) or something like Flower/Blossom and Clear/Pure (花澄) combining the kanji on the latter is complicated though.
Omg! I love the Japanese culture! I went to Japan on a mission trip once, and it was great!
Yeah! Really the scenery, if you're out in the more rural places is amazing too. The cities are a bit cramped but generally impressive.
Welcome to RPR, Kuroki! Do you have a preference on what to call you (your real name or your username)?
I've watched a ton of videos from people who spend some time in Japan and I've become secretly very jealous of their amazing toilets. If I had a lot of money I would buy one for my apartment.
What sort of RP do you do? Is it mostly anime fandom/related or do you RP other things?

Well, I don't actually use the fandom but I make up some kind of plot spinning off from the fandom, if that makes any sense.
I know you've heard this a ton of times already, but that name is very beautiful! So is your real name, too. I've always loved that name. Welcome to RPR! I hope you enjoy it here. ^^
(Also, I envy you a lot! I want to visit Japan one day, so badly. I love Japan's history, culture, art and just... well, everything really. I'm really interested in Shinto as well.) It's a shame that the term otaku has such a negative stigma attached to it there (or anywhere, really). There can be some cringe-worthy people in every fandom, but for the most part, every otaku I know of is just really fascinated by a lot of Japan's... well, everything really. Yeah, anime adoration is part of it, but not everyone dismisses the rest of the culture for their love of it.
Anyway, welcome again! Happy to have ya here at RPR!

What a cool introduction! Seems like you've immediately made yourself popular.
Oh! Hey Kim! I've heard about you! Man, you must be a superhero or something, I wouldn't say I'm popular, more just preparing to become popular. I should only be popular when I have a reason to.
AHHHH I loVE JAPANESE CULTURE

Preparing to become popular is a pretty cool response.
I'm so glad you've heard nice things about me!
