Bb, your art is absolutely stunning, and definitely worth way more than three dollars. I'm all over the idea of commissioning you, because good heavens. Definitely going to have to pay you more than your asking price, though, because that would be criminal.

I'm doing commissions til December 21. Simply because it will be holiday season then, but I will be re-opening commissions soon after that.

You know T5L your art is stunning. Absolutely stunning, and compared to my art? Oh, my art wouldn't even be art compared to yours! And being legit, my art stinks. Stinks period. Anyways like I was saying it's gorgeous and I would buy one if I could. But I can't cause, well I'm only 13. And yeah. That explains it all. But amazing.

I would strongly advise you guys to watch your back with this artist. I PM'd them and asked them if the art example they provided was actually theirs. They said yes, even though I have suspicion that it's not their art at all. I asked them if they had other art examples, they said yes. They said they had other angles of their females, and that they were in the process of uploading to DeviantArt and Instagram, and then informed me of the name they use "at all of the sites" is T5L and that I could go look them up. I then asked if they could simply provide me the links instead of telling me to go look them up. They said of course. I waited for another message, got nothing..then, when I went to message them again to ask.....I get a message stating that I cannot contact them, with the possibility of them having blocked me.

I'm highly suspicious of this individual, and to be honest, I think you all should be as well. Even if it's $3, I don't believe this person is that self unaware of their talent to charge so little.

I informed a friend earlier today, that has requested art, that I thought this person was a fake. I mean, I hate to be "that person" but...I'm being "that person" AND, since they apparently have blocked communication with me, I have to post it here. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. However....I don't believe I am. Why else would they block me?

**EDIT** To add that...I was never shown other examples. If they are that much of an aspiring artist looking for work, I wholeheartedly believe they would have provided both examples and/or links to their work without asking me specifically what it was I wanted to see. I could be wrong though but, just seemed weird to me.

Going off of what you said, I too had my suspicions of this artist merely because they did not post links to their pages where they keep artwork. Plus, the art itself did not have any sign of signatures with their username on it. It's unsigned so it's impossible to know who drew it.

I'm not expert, but I decided to try and google search the image they put up and well... I couldn't find a single thing linking that image to their name. It would appear this image floats around quite a bit with different names, and not really any of them points to a real owner. Though I found this on Pinterest;

All pinterest. There is no way I could find a single source for the real owner of this image.

Unless the artist can provide the link of the origin and prove it's theirs, I'd really be careful when commissioning this person.

Also, another alarm bell is the fact they're only pricing $3. $3? For something of high quality? Any artist with that skill must know how to price their work, especially in being of the craft for so long to get their artwork to such a standard.

My apologies for not providing links to my devianart, pinterest, etc. but I am in highschool and I use RPR on a school laptop meaning their are many sites I can not access. Today I am going to sketch a picture on paper and I shall post it to prove I am not a fraud. I shall put with it "T5L isn't a scam, buzz off"

Also, to anyone that has commissioned me I will be doing the art on paper now instead of digitally so I am able to prove that it isn't fake.

After a bit more digging, I actually found the owner of the drawing on the first page. The artist is BoggartOwl on DA.

Please, don't lie about your artwork. Art theft is something serious, and it really crushes people's hearts if they see their art being used and claimed by someone else. I'm sure this person has spent hours of love into what they do, and for someone to simply take credit of it isn't very nice to see.

took a look at the dA, the image people are especially questioning was not only uploaded on the account today, whereas a totally identical image was posted around 2011 as told a few replies back, but its also RIDICULOUSLY low res! 2.3kb! a journal entry claiming "dA messed up the resolution!" isn't gonna save you, sorry. obviously theft.
