Who else enjoys them? I've done them a few times. For those who don't know or the title doesn't explain enough, a good example is the ponyfied characters found all over the MLP fandom. These characters can be humans, aliens, dragons, or whatever else, but the artist draws them as a pony while keeping the traits that make them them. If that makes sense...

Species swaps can literally be anything into anything. My latest idea is Gladion from Pokemon Sun/Moon as an absol. I'm surprised he doesn't have an absol on his team, it fits him so well...can't wait to see the blond emo boy absol xD

lol i fangirled hard when i saw Gladion in my game (moon player) and you aren't the first to mention how he and Absol fit together! (my friend Kymberly who joined rpr a few days ago per my request known as TeamPlasmaSylvester here and her sis joined a little after that she goes by ArtemisHarmonia here -i actually don't know her real name...- Kymberly asked me why Gladion doesn't have Absol in his party and said they would be so great together)

I have no idea what's going on in that comic, but that's the best I've ever seen Guzma look...dare I say he looks kinda...hot? xD

Before I knew Gladion and Lillie's father was Mohn, I thought it was him lol. I thought Lusamine looked like the type who would be into younger men...I figured it was just one night of bow chicka bow wow and then she never told him xD In the Turf Wars RP I have Guzma and Reima has Gladion, and she's agreed to use that because face it, it's great. I also wrote a little oneshot where he finds out he's a father. Let me know if you want to see it.
