Some of you probably heard in chat that Mori came down from the UK to visit me here in the Netherlands! She stayed from Tuesday until Thursday morning and as I'm making this topic, she's on the train going back to the airport.
Apparently we're long lost sisters or something. We look more alike than we do with our own siblings....
Yesterday we went to Aachen in Germany for the annual Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market). We got gifts for our families, had some mulled wine, ate chocolate candy apples and saw some incredible architecture. (The Aachener Dom is amazing.)
We also discovered how glutenfree-friendly the German supermarkets are, as we had no issues finding suitable food for Mori there. My cats adore her and Minke was looking for her when I came back without her...
Check out our (not always flattering but still super awesome) pictures!
I know I had an amazing time hanging out with Mori and am very eager to do it all over in the future.
BONUS PIC: We had a Skype call with our LONG LOST BROTHER Bonebag too!

I vote that you make this an annual thing, and invite me as well!

YOU WANNA HANG TOO?
Something I didn't mention that happened during the flight- I got to talking with the guy sat next to me about characters, and he particularly likes Yngvi (a Viking character I'm considering adding a profile onto the site for), and Eva, an Overwatch OC who also isn't on RPR.
We talked for the entire flight about mythology and Epic Poems such as the Matter of Britain, Beowulf, various other myths, and we also talked at length about Viking runes and how they were used both as an alphabet, and also as a magic system for protection, runestones, and as part of ceremonies laying claim to the land, as well as other things, and he - being a final year Graphic Art student, was very interested in the idea of runes being used in such a way.

I had no idea, that sounds amazing! Anything that makes a flight less boring is great.
