Hey, I just joined about three seconds ago after a brief glance over this site and the dazzling realization that I've finally found the sort of community I've been looking for. My name's Lwellyn, or Askan if you're feeling personal, I'm from Germany and my favorite color gold. I've been out of RPing for about one and a half years because life-ish stuff got in the way, but I love writing all sorts of characters and I've been dying to find the right site to start writing again.
I enjoy plot lines that are complex but fun and relaxed, preferably with a pinch of humor to them. I also love throwing genres together a bit and making something unique. I'm a bit of a history nerd so you'll definitely find me somewhere between 1600 and 1920 sooner or later and I do have a soft spot for some sweet, dramatic romance at times.
My most memorable characters from the past have included a struggling artist possessed by an incarnation of all art who makes people have ideas by touching them, a sixty year old hippie founding a commune on a spaceship and other questionable highlights.
I remember starting to RP when I was about 12 with some Warrior Cats characters called Acaciapelt and Ailanthusleaf - You can tell I'm into gardening too..
I'm still in school currently, where I annoy everyone by either singing, acting, hanging my self created posters all over the place or giving my opinion on baroque that nobody asked to hear. All of the above are also my hobbies but there's also a good chance I'll just spend my time reading.
I hope to find really great and inspiring RPs on this site and get to meet some new people along the way
