Hey all!
Some of you might remember me from when I was super active all over the site a while back. Well, I had the amazing opportunity to join a group and go down to various places in South America to teach, traveling around and helping people learn English as well as serving their physical and spiritual needs. Most of the places we were in didn't have internet access, so I left RPR altogether for a good six months or so.
I was supposed to be there for a year and a half, but I developed undiagnosed pain in my lower abdomen and pelvis. My family brought me home to undergo testing and hopefully find the problem, but I've been home for over a month now and the doctors are just as stumped (if not more) as when I first arrived.
I've avoided talking about this publicly on the site, but am starting to become concerned that not only will I not be able to return to South America, but I won't be able to return to normal life. I'm basically bedridden from the pain I'm in, and nothing we've been trying seems to work. Though there are some days that are better than others, I'm mostly frustrated, lonely, and bored, and I feel super unproductive (because I am).
At this time of year, I'd like to ask you for your well-wishes, and your prayers if you're religious at all. It is the best gift I could ask for for Christmas, to find some relief and start getting active again, even if we never diagnose what's wrong with me. And I know that positive love and support (and prayers - I am a religious person) go a long way towards making that difference.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this, and I hope you are all well! In the meantime, while I'm still home and active on RPR, I'd love to RP with any of you (I'm literally on all day, every day lol).

Hi Crim, it's nice to meet you! I'm sorry to hear about your pain. I too suffer from an unknown condition (sorry if that isn't the right word for it) so I can at least sympathize/empathize with you.
To get to the point, I really do wish you nothing but the best. Even though I said I empathize with you, I can't really truly understand what you're going through unless I was you. I hope the doctors figure out the problem so you can get properly treated (and so you can get back to South America).

Hey Crimson! I was wondering where you'd been. That sounds like you've had an incredible opportunity. I'm sorry you may not be able to return, but by the sound of it you've at least done something incredible for people during the time you were there - that's nothing to sniff at! You have every right to be proud!
