So I just started rewatching my first ever anime and I must say it's a lot better than I remember...I wanted to know about every one else's first Saturday morning cartoons or their first animes
I'll talk about my own after I've gained atleast my first response
Asroc

Which anime was that?

I normally don't remember my firsts but some cartoons and shows I enjoyed were...

Eek the Cat/The Terrible Thunder Lizards
Vr Troopers
Garfield and Friends

Animes?

Well most I watched were streams such as the Ginga series, Monster Farm/Rancher and Ranma 1/2.

Well some of my first animated shows where all on on Saturday and included animes such as
.sonic X (yes that is an anime or atleast it's considered one...surprised me)
.the monster collecting anime "Dinosaur King"

.and the western animation usually for girls
"Winx club"
And some for guys

. a show called "Huntinc"

They all only showed on Saturday mornings on 4kids wich I always woke up early to see
4KidsTV and Jetix were my childhood c:

I've seen so many cartoons and anime that I can't remember my firsts lol

This is going back to like... 1993 or 1994. But I remember coming home after school, turning on the staticy analog TV and watching Mega Man through it. "*dun dun dun dun* He's a fighting robot!" *dun dun dun dunnn* Megaaaa MAN!"

But my kid shows are ancient history now. Fraggle Rock. Eureka's Castle. Under the Umbrella Tree. Nick before it became what it is now.

I remember getting up at 5am to RP with my pal in California (man did my schoolwork suffer for that) on AOL and I would put on a channel that showed VR Troopers(sup Asroc) and Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad.

... god I feel old.

I remember enjoying Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E. As bad as 4Kids was with their tat, this was enjoyable.

@QueenAqua

Megaman was a fun show. The DVD collection is REALLY hard to find. Loved VR Troopers and Big Bad Beetle Borgs.

My Saturday morning staples were Pokemon and the Mystic Knights of Tir na Nog!

Digimon, Pokemon, Winnie the Pooh, Animaniacs, Pinky and The Brain, Hercules, Aladdin, Jungle Cubs, The New Ghostwriter Mysteries - absolutely Fraggle Rock and Eureeka's Castle, which I adored and somehow still remember, even though I'm pretty sure I only got brief reruns of those last two at a pretty damn young age. I still know Batty is the best character, though.

There was a lot I watched, pleased to see that I seem to have pretty good recall of it though. This is only Saturday morning cartoons, too! That skims over Gargoyles and B:TAS and other goodies I had to have, but yeah I've always been a huge consumer of animation. I know Pokemon was an absolute must (my first Japanese animation I suppose, alongside Digimon and then later Tenchi Muyo) and the One Saturday Morning lineup (if a bit later in the game) will always have a special place in my heart.

( Yep, all aboard the 'old' train - toot toot! )

Fraggle, Eureka, VR Troopers, Beetleborgs, original Power Rangers. The X-Men. Eek the Cat. Taz-Mania. Street Sharks. There was some show with cowboy cows that was pretty good. Biker Mice From Mars. Starship Troopers: The Roughneck Chronicles. Dragon Ball Z back when it was on The Paramount Network and the only had rights to the Raditz saga and so would play those like nine episodes in a loop. Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, GUTS. Gargoyles. Aladdin. Legends of the Hidden Temple. Hercules the Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess (remember those used to be on like eight different channels?). Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter... Gundam Wing was amazing to me as a kid. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun changed everything. Tiny Toon Adventures (ellelator go up! ellalator go down the hoooooole!)

Damn.... And so much more I have lost the brain capacity to remember.

I actually personally enjoy watching Xena on Netflix
