Anyone else have issues with their characters always looking really young? Nearly everytime i draw a character they look between 12-18ish. Even if i was trying to draw them in their 20s -_-
Anyone have any good tips on how to make their faces look older? The only way i can get an older look is tp trace a base at the moment.

Look up images of older people and draw them. Pay attention to how the lines differ.
Some tips: longer faces, smaller eyes, more lines in the face.

here's some more stylized studies of age too if you're aiming for a toony result - i usually hop between photos and cartoons while i study something so i can see how things have been simplified:

as a side note, while copying images can be a good way to start learning, copying from photos will be more beneficial to your understanding than bases, which are already very stylized and often have errors.
if you do copy though, remember to make sure the photo is free to use if you're going to share/sell the art, and i'd also be quite careful with choosing your bases, because a lot of them are usually traced art themselves and you might get in trouble for something they stole!
