The phantom flew through space. "So, found any new planets Chopper?" Asked Kanan. The orange astromech let out a series of irritated 'wups' in rapid succession. "Nal Fortula? Seriously? That's a Hutt world! Putting our base there's just ask'n for trouble." Zeb groaned. Chopper let out another series of wups. "Well I'm not the one with a map of the galaxy installed in their brain." Zeb grumbled. Kanan thought for a moment. "What about Wek? That planet's not inhabited. Doesn't have an imperial presence or a need for one." Kanan suggested. "Isn't Wek infested with Rathtars and Sarlakks?" Zeb asked. "Oh yeah, forgot about those...." Kanan said. "If anyone else has any suggestions I'm open to hearing them." Kanan said to Ezra, Rex, and Sabine, who were all deep in thought trying to think up a decent location for a base.
The group sat by thinking tentatively. Rex considered numerous worlds but all that would be able to host a base well were under Empire control. Back with the rebel fleet those in command examined the maps of all known Republic and Separatist controlled worlds and bases. Sabine had no real idea. She could think of many planets to hide on but most had an imperial presence or were at least occupied by one group or another. Ezra had trouble thinking of any world. His main thoughts were of his and Kanan's situation with being hunted by the Inquisitors. They were relentless and always seemed one step ahead of the rebels. He sighs. "I don't know. Anywhere we go just seems to be a trap now." He kicks his legs up as he sighs.
"That's why we keep looking until we find a place that isn't a trap." Kanan said. "Found anything else yet, Chop?" Kanan asked, getting a few frustrated wups from the droid. "Hoth huh? Now that might not be that bad of an idea..." Kanan said. He was about to enter the coordinates for Hoth in the Hyperdrive but stopped. He could feel something in the force. It was vaguely familiar but he couldn't put his finger specifically on why. "Ezra, do you feel that presence in the force as well?" Kanan asked.
Ezra sat up and concentrated. "I don't know? I think I feel something but it feels hazy? Like it's blocked or something? How can that be?" He asks confused. Rex looks up a little confused himself. "Somethings blocking you?"
"It' probably distance..." Kanan said. anan tried to turn his thoughts back onto finding a base, but the odd familiarity he sensed kept bringing his mind to the one he sensed. He felt for the feeling and found it once more. He was able to feel where it was. He followed the feeling back to its source, through the force. "Chop, put in the coordinates to Abb." Kanan said. "Wha? Abb? Why we going there? It's got an imperial presence. Not to mention the planet's crawling with dozens of nasty critters." Zeb said, followed by a few Wups of agreement from Chopper. "I can feel something there. I don't know why, but it's really familiar... I think it might be a Jedi. If it is, we might be able to get a real powerful ally." Kanan added. A few moments later they jumped to hyper space.
Ezra sat back pondering. If it was a jedi it would be a great help. But on Abb? An imperial controlled mining world? That would be an odd place of hiding. Ezra couldn't shake this odd feeling something was off and Kanan's lack of caution raised concerns. Rex nodded having had the same thought as he could tell from Ezra's look. "I know." He says looking concerned to Kanan. "I hope he's right." The former captain says looking ahead into the vastly speeding stars around.
The Phantom came out of Hyperspace over Abb. As expected there were a few Star Destroyers hovering in space. Thankfully for the rebels, the Phantom was far less recognizable than the ghost, and they were able to slip by unnoticed.
Once the ship broke through the atmosphere they were greeted by a massive sea of green leaves. "That's a lot of trees." Zeb said. "How're we gonna land? I can barely see the ground." Zeb asked. "I would assume where htye have cities the trees are thinner." Kanan said.

Rex looks a little confused. "Strange we weren't asked for ID. A fleet of that size outside usually relates to a blockade or controlled presence. But we were just let in?" He says having a bad feeling. "Preoccupied Imperials means we're in the right direction." Ezra says smirking. Rex laughs. "That's just like the general would say."
After a few minutes of flying, they came across a massive clearing of trees. As Kanan had expected, it was a city. It didn't seem all too large. It was about ninety acres in total footage, with at least half of that size being from a ship port that had a few TIEs docked at it. Oddly, it was at the top of the tree line, more or less. Kanan brought the Phantom II down at an empty space.
They all got off the ship and looked around. "Yeah this is definitely where they are." Kanan said. Oddly, despite the obvious ship port, there were know Stormtroopers around. "I don't like this. There should be tons of Bucketheads walk'n around here. Where are they?" Zeb asked. Before anyone could respond, a loud whaling shriek echoed through the city, followed by the sound of blaster fire. Several Abbros, the humanoid armor plated inhabitants of Abb, came running up to the ship port, clearly freaked out, from a stair well that led to a lower level of the city.

Ezra looks to Kanan. "Seems that's a good place to start." He smirks and draws his lightsaber as he and Rex run off in the direction. "Are you sure?" Sabine says going to stop them but deciding not to. "Reckless as I'm used to." Rex laughs running with him, blaster in tow.
"Whoa! Hang on there!" Kanan said. "Put the weapons away, we don't even know what's going on. Let's check it out first." Kanan said, as he led the others to the lower level. It took a bit of searching, but it soon became obvious what the source of the sound was. Thrashing about, viciously mauling Storm Troopers was a massive, quadrupedal, winged creature. For the most part it had smooth, leathery skin with yellow and black patterns. Around it's neck was a mane of grey fur, which trailed down the back slightly. Along side the giant creature, was a flock of birds, pecking at and dive bombing storm troopers.
The Troopers darted about, trying to kill the giant winged creature and the birds, unaware that she shipment they'd been carrying was being looted by Abbros Rebels. One in particular stood out They were clad in entirely black armor, save for golden trim, and a golden faceplate which had red eye holes. On their back was a Vibro blade. This Rebel was killing Troopers with no trouble at all in the chaos.

Ezra looks at the strange 'rebel' fighting wide eyed. He watched as the Vibro blade struck through a trooper swiftly killing him. Ezra, Rex and Satine hid behind some crates and watched the fight. "What are those things?" Ezra asks. "And who is that?" He looks to the fighter. "Never seen anyone like it." Rex says taken back by the new comers brutality and fierceness.
"I dunno." Kanan said. "So are we just gonna stand here? Or are we gonna give 'em a hand? Some ore friends wouldn't hurt us." Zeb said, just itching to join the fight. "Doesn't look liek there's going to be much of a fight any more." Kanan said. By now the new Rebel had taken out half the Troopers, with the Beast helping them taking out the rest.
One Trooper had managed to escape, falling back, before he got shot in the leg by the Rebel. They walked over to the Trooper surprisingly casually, despite how brutal they were earlier. The Rebl swung their tail, bringing it down on the Trooper's arm A loud snap was heard, followed by the Trooper screaming in pain. The Rebel picked the trooper up and slammed him into a nearby support beam. "Once you get back to your base, tell your boss that the next time you're making weapon shipments through OUR city, there'll be a lot more damage than a few dead Storm Troopers and destroyed TIE fighters." The Rebel said, their voice was clearly digitally modified by their helmet, being far deeper than was possible. People could be heard screaming and seen coming down from the level above as something massive slithered around. Soon the TIE fighters docked at the spaceport were pushed off the edge, falling hundreds upon hundreds of feet to the ground.

"You sure these guys are friendly? Just cause they're fighting the Empire doesn't mean they're on our side?" Rex says cautious after seeing the latest action. Ezra looks up to the creatures. They remained around almost like they were waiting for the so called rebel. "What should we do?" He asks Kanan. Sabine was quiet and took slow deep breaths. Something was off here. Rather unsettling. Much like crime lords or slave traders. She kept her blaster close by. Ready to fire in the blink of an eye.
The Rebel watched as the storm trooper ran off, before leaving. The beast that had been attacking shook itself, taking on a far more friendly demeanor than it had before, before it too left. "Ezra, come on. Let's follow them and see where their going. The rest of you stay here." Kanan ordered before he and Ezra headed off.
"You seem interested. Not like you to take us into a pursuit so quickly." Ezra says running behind his master as they follow the strange so called rebel. Though just because they killed some stormtroopers doesn't mean they're on their side.
"That animal wasn't acting naturally. It was being controlled. I think if we follow them, we might be able to find that presence I felt." Kanan said, as they headed off. The two followed after the Rebel for a distance before the Rebel stopped. They looked over they're shoulder. Thankfully, Kanan and Ezra were several yards above. Slithering through the thick tree branches was a massive alien serpent. It's scales, save for long stripe on its back, were black. It's face, and the stripe along its back were golden.
The Rebel pet the creature, speaking in the native language of the Abbros. The Serpent let out content hisses as it coiled around the branch. Soon though the Serpent stopped, sniffing of the air. It looked up, seeing Kanan and Ezra. The Serpent let out a loud shriek, before shooting forward. It suddenly stopped as the Rebel barked an order at it. The Serpent looked down at the Rebel and lowered itself back to the tree branch.
Soon the Rebel had climbed up to the Branch the two were on. "Who are you, and hwy are you following me?" The Rebel demanded, having drawn their vibroblade. "We weren't following you, we were just relaxing in the trees. And you might want to keep a better leash on that... thing." Kana lied. "Gunji doesn't like liars. Neither do I. I saw you and several others back at the village. I'll ask one more time before I have Gunji attack. Who are you, and why are you following me?" The Rebel questioned.

Ezra was unsure sure how to respond. He had his lightsaber in his hand and held low as he kept his eyes on the large creature. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes to begin mind melding with it. The creatures mind seemed like a flurry of ferocity but also steady and calm. As if another force user was affecting it. It looks over to him hissing as he gasps and snaps back to himself. "A jedi?" He says looking up to the strange rebel.
"No...." The Rebel said glancing at Ezra. The Rebel was silent for a moment. "Are you Jedi?" They asked. "If you're not a Jedi how do you have that thing under control? And how did you control that bird back at the village?" Kanan asked. "Gunji is my partner. I've trained him after I found him. And the Grifoc was being controlled by my sister." The Rebel said. "Are you two Jedi?" The Rebel repeated.
Ezra looked up to him. He never had to see someone else inside a creatures mind. Could he have been wrong? "Where's your sister?" He asks looking at the beast.
