I'm Zahzu, known here as LEMUR!
I am an artist, zoology fanatic, and lover of all things interesting!
My characters tend to be either random humans, random anthros, or odd twists on common themes (e.g. Omby, my zebu-based minotaur).
As a person I am very happy, friendly, and open-minded! I love meeting new people, making new friends, and engaging with others!
For those who get to known me more closely, I can also be very excitable, passionate, and obsessive; if I love a character, I LOOOOOOVE a character, and will express those feelings loudly!! I love sharing enthusiasm, and love to both validate & be validated about feelings of appreciation!
As a RPer I'm super laid-back, fun, and casual! I am equally comfortable with short or long RPs; serious character development, or ridiculous "crack-RPs"; any genders, species, or settings!
An element of my obsessiveness is that, if I love a character, I will continue to love them PRETTY MUCH FOREVER, even if you stop caring about them, lol. 8')
Admittedly, I do get OOC often; I enjoy reacting to a character's actions, and if they do something funny then expect me to interject some [bracketed nonsense]! Similarly, my writing style is a bit peculiar, but hopefully not annoying? Haha, at least, nobody's complained yet!!
My preferred RP settings really vary -- ultimately, I have no "favorite" other than a modern or semi-modern style.
While I invest a good deal of research into the foundations of my characters, I am a lot more lazy when it comes to researching different settings or time periods.
So, while I am not opposed to ancient or futuristic settings, do not expect me to be flawlessly accurate -- my brain is dedicated to accuracies within a species/creature, not within a historical era, etc.!
- I like casual interaction RPs (like friendships, friendly rivalries, etc.), romantic, fight RPs (typically more cartoonish than realistic, but I'd be interested to try anything!), etc.! -- I've never tried group quest or plot-based RPs, but that could definitely be really cool, too!!
IN AN IDEAL WORLD I'd love to meet someone else who loves to draw out character interactions, RP scenes, etc.!
I enjoy talking about hypothetical character scenarios & funny scenes just as much (if not more) than I enjoy actually RPing, so finding someone like-minded would be RAD, but really I get along with all types!! c:
Currently, my character list only includes a profile I made for my DND character, but.... as soon as I can figure out how to add more characters, I should have a much more diverse selection, haha!

i'm currently playing him in an eberron setting as part of a pirate crew! P-) i love me some humans and dwarves, but the beasties are really fun to explore the mindsets of. i wanna try and roll a beholder sometime if i'm ever in a higher level campaign, their lore is so creative. they 'reproduce' by accidentally dreaming other beholders into existence, for instance.
anyways! there's a ton of D&D fans here, so i reckon you'll be able to roll those dice again soon! the guys i play with use a mix of the dice tools here and roll20 for maps, and it works out really well.
