" I see you look better today. You hungry?" he asked with his hand on her back

"Starving," Raven replied with a smile.
Slowly and carefully, she sat up and slightly winced as her stitches pulled again.

" I'll go get food" Jonathan stood up and left for the cooks tent, got the food, and came back to Raven. Handing her a tray he sat down

"The battle is over im assuming?" Raven asked as she ate her food.
She took her time since there wasnt any hurry.

" yea the battle is over. The north got tired and left."

"We are going to be moving soon," Raven informed.
Eating the rest of her food, she put the tray down on the ground and decided to asses her injuries from the past two days. Taking off her shirt, she looked around her body. One bruise on her upper right arm, two on her sides, a gunshot wound to her tummy area, and a gunshot wound to her left thigh. Oh and the cut on her cheek but that wasnt really a problem.
Sighing, she layed back down but opposite than the right way.

" they have already started to pack up we should move by tomorrow "

"Right. I need to start packing too then," Raven said mostly to herself.
She needed to evaluate Jonathan's injuries too though.
"Jonathan come here and take your shirt off please," she asked, sitting up again.

" I don't think your in shape for that"

Raven looked at him and rolled her eyes. "Im fine now get your butt over here and do as i said," she ordered.
A smile tugged at the corners of her lips and she tried to hold back a small laugh.

Jonathan walked over to her and pulled his shirt off

Raven slowly stood by holding onto Jonathan gently. She looked him over for serious injuries that would prevent him from doing certain jobs. Several bruises and scratches from the last battle he was in, the gunshot wound to his shoulder, his knife wound was mostly healed as well as the gunshot wound to his leg.
"Ok so no heavy duty stuff with that gunshot wound to your shoulder. Dont want it reopening," she said and sat back down with relief.

" I've had worse" he said looking at her. " I'm more worried about you"

Raven looked up at Jonathan. "Why? I'll be fine," she dismissed and smiled reassuringly.

" that's what I said when my leg was almost cut off. Now stay here I'll pack for you"

Raven sighed and smiled then laid back down on her cot and watched Jonathan. "Thank you, but if i cant walk around today, what makes you think i can travel tommorow?" she asked. It had been on her mind for a little while that morning but she needed to talk about it now.

" I gave you some of my powers your wound should be almost gone by then"

"Wait you have magic too?" Raven asked confused.

" yea my kind can do a bunch of stuff. For instance we can time travel"

"What?!" Raven exclaimed in surprise and slipped off the edge of her cot.
It was kinda comical when she fell on the ground. Of course not to her but to anyone else watching it would be. She groaned and put her hand to her stomach. That really didnt feel good on the stitches.
