Jonathan climbed on

Raven leaned into him and put her head on his shoulder. They started the truck and moved out.

The truck started moving and jumped now and then as it drove over a pot hole. They got to their next camp site around noon. They unloaded the trucks and Jonathan put up Ravens tent

One of the men came over to Jonathan and nudged him. "Hey lemme ask you somethin. Why do you keep helping that doctor lady?" he asked, nodding towards Raven.
Raven was taking out her stuff from the truck and setting them down on the ground gently.

" she's my wife why else"

"You married her during a war?" he asked.
Raven stopped to talk to someone about his injury. Explaining what he needed to do to help with the pain and how it could help to heal faster.

" we were already married before the war. shegot a job as a doctor here. So I joined her as a soldier" lied Jonathan so the human didn't suspect anything

"But you two werent this close before," he replied confused.
Raven finished up her conversation and headed over to Jonathan. She was limping slightly but she tried to hide it so Jonathan wouldnt worry. Slipping past the soldier and Jonathan, she went into their tent.

" we had a small argument."

"Oh. Well have a great day then and for the sake of your wife, dont die." he said trying to make a small joke.
Turning, he walked away.

Jonathan walked into the tent " how's the most beautiful woman in the world?" asked Jonathan walking up to Raven

Raven smiled and stood up from where she had been unpacking her medical stuff. "A whole lot better since you walked in," she replied happily.

"you're spoiling me" said Jonathan playfully

Raven laughed and hugged Jonathan gently. "Hows your shoulder?" she asked.

"still healing. It does nagg me now and then"

"Sit down, take off your shirt and let me see. I need to make sure everything is fine," Raven ordered gently.

Jonathan sat in front of her and took his shirt off

Bending down a little, she gently touched his shoulder and tried not to hurt him as she looked it over. When she made sure it was healing fine, she stood back up and nodded in approval.
"Alright. Looks fine, but if you want me to redo the stitches i can. Theyre a little tight so that could be why its bothering you every now and then," she said.

" it's only for another day I can take it. How are you?"

"Dunno i havent worried about it. Though my stomach wound is giving me issues. Its bothering me more then usual," Raven replied and bent down in front of Jonathan.
