The doctor hesitated and looked at Raven. She nodded and he sighed.
"After those symptoms pass it will seem like she is getting better but after a few days organs start shutting down. She may start coughing up blood or randomly bleeding. I cant be sure if she will make it through that stage or she will recover before she gets there," he explained.

Jonathan sighed and walked to Raven and kneeled besides her

The doctor figured he was done and walked out of the tent, shutting it behind him.
Raven looked at him and tried looked at his eyes. Reaching out, she took his hand gently.

Jonathan looked up at her "I can't live with knowing you might die"

Raven kissed his forehead softly and closed her eyes, resting there for a second. "I wont. I promise," she whispered.

Jonathan turned into a wolf and lay on the floor

Raven closed her eyes and feel asleep.
In the middle of the night, the doctor returned and walked straight over to Jonathan even in his wolf form. He shook Jonathan and motioned for him to follow him outside.

Jonathan turned human and walked outside "what's the matter doc?"

"You need to take her and her supplies then leave. Forget about the war and go home. I put together enough of the mixture to last you several days," the doctor said quickly and handed Jonathan a pouch with the mixture in it.

Jonathan took the pouch " but why?"

"The longer she stays here the more i can gurantee she will die," the doctor said grimly. "Take one of the horses so you can carry everything you will need. I've saddled one up and put everything such as food, water, and medicine on it. Hurry up," he added.

Jonathan walked back into the tent. " Raven, we need to go"

Raven woke up and rubbed her eyes sleepily. "Why?..where are we going?" she mummbled sleepily.
Still half asleep, she got off the cot and stumbled in doing so.

Jonathan caught her "you'll be safer that way"

Raven held onto him and grabbed the blanket off the bed, putting it around her. She shivered and leaned into Jonathan, still half asleep.
"Where are we going then?" she mummbled.
The doctor motioned for them to hurry up and was holding the horse by the reins.

Jonathan walked her over to the horse and helped her on. "I have a place two days from here."

Raven held onto the horse and put her head on its neck. Closing her eyes, she sarted to fall back asleep. The doctor put his hand on her waist so she wouldnt fall off. Then handed the reins to Jonathan.
"I'll cover for you two. You will be honorably discharged as well as she. Now go before people start waking up," the doctor said.

" thank you" said Jonathan before getting on the horse. " I will find a way to repay this kindness" Jonathan took off into the woods.

Raven fell back asleep, now leaning on Jonathan. She was shivering but her body was burning up.
