Jonathan turned human and walked over to Racen "yes?"

"Thought you might want some food baby," Raven replied and handed him a plate.

Jonathan took the plate with a smile. "thanks"

It was some meat from the day before, heated up and some vegetables from the store. A question sparked in her mind and she hesitated before asking. "What would you think of having a baby?" she asked.
Not looking at him though, she made a plate for herself.

Jonathan choked on the food as she asked the question. He stood up and looked at Raven "are we ready for it?"

Raven still didnt look at Jonathan and gripped the counter. "What im asking is..if you would stay. If you would...still be there..for me," she replied.

"you know I would never leave you" he said turning her so she looked at him "I love you."

Raven glanced into his grey eyes then looked away. "I love you too.." she whispered.

"do you want to have a baby?" asked Jonathan looking at raven

"Well i cant not have one now.." Raven murmured hesitantly.

"what you mean that... Im going to be a father?"

Raven looked up at him hesitantly then nodded. "Yes....." she mummbled.

Jonathan picked Raven up and hugged her "I'm going to be a dad!" he said with happiness "I guess we can't have drinking contests for a while" he joked

Raven hugged back and relaxed, relieved he was happy about it. "No i suppose not," she said with a smile.

"but I do wonder why you even thought I would leave you"

Raven hopped up onto the counter and sat, level with Jonathan now. "Im used to being ditched," she replied with a shrug.
There was some coldness in her eyes when she said it.

"we'll you can be sure I will never leave you" he said looking at her eyes. He leaned in and kissed her "I would never hurt you"

Raven put her arms around his neck and kissed back. "I know.. i trust you," she murmured.

"but just to let you know even if I tried I couldn't leave you. When my kind mates we mate for life"

"Can you handle this?" Raven asked, looking into his eyes.
