Jonathan smiled at her request "I'll take you to Paris"

"What?! Really?!" Raven exclaimed, whipping around.
An excited gleam came into her eyes then she jumped onto Jonathan and hugged him tight.

Jonathan hugged back. "don't get too exited I can take you to many other places more exiting than Paris"

Raven smiled and kissed him. "I dont care just as long as im with you," she whispered.

"now let's govto bed. We should go over to your parents house tomorrow and tell them of the wedding."

"I think thats a good plan," Raven replied.
Letting go of Jonathan, she dropped to the floor and went over to the bed. Crawling in the bed, she snuggled under the covers and fell asleep quickly.

Jonathan got in the bed and fell asleep holding Raven

Early the next morning, Raven woke up and slipped from Jonathan's hold. Getting dressed, she shook Jonathan gently.
"Come on we have to get an early start if we're gonna make it to my parents house," she murmured quietly.

Jonathan groaned and got up "I'm up." he said standing up

Raven smiled and tried not to laugh at his sleepy state. It was actually really cute. Instead, she gave him a sweet, gentle kiss.

Jonathan kissed back lazily. He got dressed and waited for Raven

Raven laughed softly then took him outside to the stables. Introducing him to a black horse named Sky. She saddled up a white horse named Robin. Hopping up onto the horse, she checked that Jonathan was ready.

Jonathan got on sky " ready let's get going"

"Oh im ready," Raven replied then tapped Robin's flank. Robin took off out of the stables and onto the dirt roadway leading off her land. It was a couple minute ride to get off her land then they were out on the open roadway.

Jonathan followed right behind her.

They arrived at a plantation not long before sunset. When they turned a bend in the road, a huge three story house came into view. It was both wide and long, much bigger than Raven's house. It was quiet around the planation since it wasnt harvest season. When they came up in front of the house, a man in his eighties walked out and bowed a second before standing.
"Ms. Laurie it is good to see you again. I shall take you and your..friend's horse to the stables," he said, his voice worn by age.
After Raven and Jonathan dismounted, he took their horses to the stables.

"Miss Laurie, huh? So how come this is gee first time I hear your last name?"

Raven smiled and walked up to the door. "I dont really go around telling people my name is Raven Josephine Laurie. Kinda long you know," Raven replied with a laugh.
Opening the door, she walked into the house only to be knocked backwards by a hug from her brother.
"AW Rave! Your alive!" he exclaimed and kept hugging her.
He had short cropped black hair and looked to be in his early thirties. When he looked up and saw Jonathan, he let go of Raven and pushed her aside gently.
"Whos this?" he asked with a protective tone.
Raven rolled her eyes and sighed as her mother and father came out of the house. They both gave her hugs but her moms lasted longer than anyone elses. The father noticed Jonathan and tapped her mothers shoulder who looked over then let go.
"Raven, dear. Who is this man?" her father asked something else in his tone that didnt sit right with Raven.
She nervously stepped closer to Jonathan and took his hand to reassure herself.
"Guys..this is my fiance," she said.

Jonathan smiled at Ravens parents and brother. " a pleasure to meet you " said Jonathan stretching his hand in a greeting

Her father took Jonathan's hand firmly and shook but her brother didnt. Her mother smiled and shook his hand as well.
"Hello. My name is Lily Laurie. Her father, Henry Laurie. And her brother, Tom Laurie." Lily introduced them.
Lily motioned for them to all go in and Raven's brother was the first to go in and dissappeared somewhere. Her father then mother went in and Raven gripped Jonathan's hand harder as she stepped into the house.
