Good:you endure the pain for so long, it doesn't phase you anymore

Bad: Sure the pain doesn't phase you anymore, but have fun dealing with the nasty flu you caught. Hope you got a big bucket.

Worse:because you have the flu,you lose a lot of water and you are now dehydrated as well.

Good: there is a water park nearby

Bad:the water is poisoned.

Worse: You swallowed some.

Good:you're still alive.

Bad- You're dying of cancer

Worse:you have a week to live

Good: Someone is treating you to a trip to Disneyland all expenses paid

Bad:the cancer is getting worse
