Demon the Dark they called him. King of Shadows... Outcast... Monster... They disgraced him, shamed him, and chased him from their ranks. They attacked him with knives and swords and torches, forcing him to flee the only home he knew. And now... Now they want him back. Decades after the event that altered the course of his life and they want him to return. However, it is not with sorrow nor guilt that they welcome him back into the village. It is with the longing to end him...
With the intentions of bringing him back for his own execution, they find themselves with the need of a volunteer... Someone has to go into the forest and convince him to come to the kingdom or give the order to have him forced to leave. Afterwards, they will keep in the dungeons for a week to "decide his fate." Of course, it's all for show. They have no plans of letting him leave with his life. Will someone take pity upon the poor creatures soul?
This is a role play with a medieval setting taking place within a small kingdom and the forest outside it's border. The plot is intended to get the role play going, but it can go anywhere afterwards. It will be with my character Obsidian Black who will, of course, be the so called monster in the forest. The second character can be pretty much anyone in the kingdom whether it be the executioner or a noble who comes across him in his dungeon cell and realizes he is not what they thought he was. If you're interested, please read Obsidian's profile and let me know. This will be a PM role play with only one other person involved though I can do more than one role play with the same plot. All I ask is that you have proper spelling and grammar. I prefer at least a paragraph in response, but as long as I can work with it, I probably won't complain.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
