I was planning on doing it through PMs. Forums tend to get clogged up and misleading if you don't know where to look, and PMs are super straightforward, at least in my past experience.
You are right about the Arthas, but the Infinity is more of a generation ship type thing, like the Axiom from Wall-E. The Skimmer is a purely atmospheric ship designed for light personal transport, so they wouldn't carry any into space. Good guess, though. I'm excited to see how this pans out, since this is really my first official RP on a dedicated site.

Well, Riley for one probably wouldn't be much use in a big generation boat - at least, not if she was supposed to be in charge of anything, that is. I guess as a crackshot repairgirl under the authority of an engineering director she would fit in fine.
Though, if we're going for a 'small team against the elements' sort of vibe then I think Arthas would be the best bet.
And I agree with you on forums vs PMs. The latter is especially good for communication, which is super important on a site like this. I've been in quite a few promising forum RPs that ended up dying because someone took too long to post or whatever, which is a very silly reason to close down an RP.

Not quite. That button just turns whatever thread you're on into an instant messenger sort of deal. To send out PMs, head to your Inbox in the upper right, then Compose.
From there you can Add Recipients - just type the names of the people you want to include in the PM, and click on them when they appear.
After that, then you can hit the Launch Chat button, and we'll all be on the same page. Er...so to speak.
