A horse and carriage clattered down the cobblestone street, the carriage creeked as the horse tugged at his harness. Finally the horse reared up and tried to buck out of his bindings. The driver finally got the horse under control, but not before something caught his eye, something blue. The man looked again but it had gone, he shook hid head, casting it off as a reflection.

Castiel peered out the window once again, the driver was now continuing along his route, passing by the broken down theater with little more then a second glance. Castiel turned away and walked/floated down the aisle that was once lined by rows upon rows of velvet seats. Now, what seats were left were rotted clear through, their once glorious splender lost to time. Above him the upper level of the theater was sagging at the edges, threatening to fall, and the balconies had long lost their pine flooring. Castiel reached the stage and floated to it's almost rotten floorboards. Castiel reached to a case of the same blue aura and lifted and intriquitly made ghostly violin. The words 'From Claire With Love' was still written on the bridge. He lifted the instrument to his chin and, with his back to the door, began to play. The song was eerie and sad, yet beconing at the same time. Castiel tried to imagine the theater, filled with people again, but he knew that his only audience were the rats and spiders, was he right?

"zatanna wait up were are you going" kita yelled to her little friend who was flying up to and old building were the sound of a violin was coming from the little fairy turned to kita " theres somthing in here and its not human" kita stopped in her tracks "t-then i dont want to go in" the fairy flew to kita and began yelling at her " YOU WILL ITS YOUR JOB AS GUARDIAN TO INVESTIGATE ALL THINGS PARANORMAL!" the fairy began tugging on kita's ear "okay -okay im coming" kita opened the doors to what seemed to be an old theator ounce open the sound of the violin grew stronger

Castiel didn't notice, he was lost to the past. The music flowed outward with every stroke of the bow. The strings vibrated happily yet the music they sang was solem. Castiel's long, thin fingers danced, tracing waves of blue streaks in the air. Wisps began to appear around him. The multicolor orbs floated around him, entranced by his song, not noticing the living among them. The song slowed and ended and the wisps dispersed.

kita had sat down in one of the old seats and in her hand was a ball of light that illuminated the little area she was sitting in zatanna her fairy friend flew up to the stage hoping that the man did not notice her she flew back to kita " definitly not human" kita shuddered "thats what i was afraid of" kita spoke a little to loudly causing the inhuman man to look at her she quickly made the ball of light dissapear

Castiel turned, reacting to the voice. He saw the girl even after the light dissappeared. He hesitated a moment, his reaction slowed by surprise.

"One of the living"

He spoke more to himself then to any other. Ghosts were not suposed to be seen by the living. While many would try to make contact in hopes of being 'releived', but he was long past saving. He bolted, running for the door that lead back stage. It wasn't until he passed through the door that he realized that he left his case.

kita walked up to the stage re iluminating her light that now followed close behind her revealing that it to was a fairy she picked up the case and whispered to zatanna " what is he " the little fairy said "a ghost " suddenly kita knew why he left so quickly then she said quit loudly " it's okay for me to see you .. im a guardian .. we are meant to help people like you weather its to crossover or if you have unfinnished buisness you'd like help with ... so you dont have to hide"

Castiel peered out, part of his body stayed crossing beyond the door.

"A guardian? You can't help me. No one can."

He passed back beyond the door. What he said was true. His body was long lost, making a forced crossover impossible, and he couldn't remember why he remained.

kita stayed were she was and she held out the violin case "here .. you know you sounded really great" zatanna sat on kitas shoulder and the fairy that looked like a ball of light stood on her head

Castiel had been sitting against the door when she spoke. He leaned back exposing his head and shoulders.

"do you really think so?"

He disappeared again in order to stand, then walk out through the door.

kita smiled "yea you were really good right zatanna , mina" kita looked to her shoulder and zatanna nodded and the light on her head fluctuated and a calm voice was heard "yea it was fantastic" kita calmly walked to the ghost man and grabbed his hand and put the case in it " here"

Castiel's cheeks darkened, the equivalent to a blush.

"um, thank you"

She placed the case down and carefully placed the violin and bow in the case, rubbing unconsciously a cross the engraving.

"I guess you can say I've had a lot of practice"

He stood, case in hand and bowed politely.

"My name is Castiel, I must apologize for my earlier behavior, I did not know that you were a friend to... my kind"

"my name is kita this is zatana" the fairy siting on her shoulder got up and flew infron of castiels face " a pleasure" she said with a bow "and this little ball of sunshine is mina " mina waved "hi" kita looked at castiel "im a friend to all kind" kita smiled

Castiel stood back up again and looked at zatana with interest.

"A fairy? I've never seen one before. Are they like the wisps?"

kita scratched her head "sorta ... fairys can be a bit rude and mean sometime and zatanna is the meanest of all" zatanna kicked kitas arm "who are you calling mean" kita looked at zatanna "you" zatanna and kita glared at each other

Castiel smiled, he found their bickering a tad comical. There were a sound that sounded somewhere between. Homes and chirping from behind the curtain.

"there you are little one, I was wondering where you ran off to"

A blue wisp shot from behind the curtains and hid behind Castiel.

"this little one is my wisp, he doesn't have a name but he heard my violin one night and stuck around. He's a tad shy"

The wisp chimed some more from behind him. The wips peered from behind Castiel's shoulder and chimed some more. Castiel nodded and the wisp was off. It darted every which way, exploring the newcomer before settling it's fascination on Zatana. Castiel laughed.

"not for long though"

zatanna looked at the wisp "um its a pleasure to meet you " kita looked at castiel "um is there anyway to turn the lights on mina's getting tired" mina was now on sitting on kita's head kita leaned in to whisper to castial "she's the laziest of all my fairies" mina heard what she said and hit kita on the head with her tiny fist "ow"

Castiel chuckled again then walked over to a candle on the side of the stage and took it to wisp.

"will you do the honors?"

The wisp chimed some more and hovered around the wick. It caught and burned blue for a moment before returning to a normal flame. Castiel thanked his friend and floated upwards to the chandeliers. One by one he lit what candles remained in their slots. Soon the room was filled with a dim glow.

mina stoped clowing and went to castiel "thank you " her calm voice came she then went to the wisp and said the same after that she flew to kita and seemingly warped into her chest jita looked up at castiel "thank you"

Castiel bowed again.

"Please, it is a pleasure to help such a fine lady and fairies"

Even wisp lowered in height in his form of bow, mimicking his friend.

"you said you were a guardian, what exactly does that mean?"

"well a guardian is someone who is chosen by the gods before they are even born and ounce born they are born with an extrodinary gift and ounce they reach the age 10 they meet their guid .. mine is zatanna.. a guardians job is to find any paranormal being and help and protect them to the best of their abilities even if it cost them there lives" kita seemed quit serious as she spoke
