Hey, I don't mean to like. Intrude or anything, but are you alright? ...Do you need any help? You look, frankly speaking. Bad.

*he looks concerned, winged eyes looking in disbelief at the small guy in front of him. The customer is very pretty, and he's always liked pretty things. His eyebrows knit.*

*he shifts his gaze and fumbles with the bottle in his fingers*

I'm alright, really

Uh, just. That brand- it doesn't help fevers in adults. At all. It's for children. *he murmurs, plucking a different bottle off of the shelf.*

Maybe try this? *he gently hands it to him, letting their fingers brush.* You're, um. flushed. And usually that means fever...

Um. Do you want to tell me your...symptoms? I can probably help, I know like, everything there is to know about generic off brand medicines. And y'know, brand names. *he clears his throat--he's rambling. he fiddles with the hem of his worn cardigan, biting his lip.*

*he gulps and gently takes what is offered, a small nod of thank you*

Thank you, again. I'd stay and explain but,, well,, I-..
*he rubs his head gently and then his eyes*

*his eyebrows crease further.* I can't let you leave in this condition. Look. It's on the house, I just have to clock out and I'll help you get out of here. You look like you're about to, uh, pass out.

*he offers his arm.* Where do you live? This isn't great weather for walking, uh, so if it's a little further away I can just. Carry you? *he frowns.*

Sorry. That was. Really forward. I'm not usually like this--shit. Sorry. Um. You just look, y'know. Bad. Let's just get you out of here.

*he looks at Anthony with a raised brow, full of skepticism. He reaches his hand out for a moment before stopping himself and smiling nervously under his mask. he ponders for a moment, though he really doesn't have said moment to spend*

I can,, pay for it. I can w,,walk

You look like shit. Just. Let me help. I live alone and I have literally nothing to do, and if my manager hears that I'm helping out a customer to the extent of walking them home, I might get a raise and I /really/ need a raise.

*He frowns, looking like he means business.*

*he sighs under his mask, embarrassed to the fullest. Being called out on looking like shit didn't bother him at this point, he inhaled*

Thank god. Okay. Give! *he takes the bottle, pretty much flying to the checkout and purchasing it before clocking out with a hurried 'BYE SAMUEL'. he's back in record speed, and he crouches in front of the customer.*

Okay. So, what's your name? I'm Anthony. Anthony Matthew. Um. You can grab onto my shoulders, just try not to touch my neck... *he stumbles over his words, biting his lip. he allows some time for him to clamber onto his back, before securely wrapping his arms around his legs and meandering out the door. He staggers slightly as his feet hit an icy patch on the ground, but he's fine, or at least that's what he tells himself.*

*he hides his face, though there isn't much to be seen of it already. He gently grips the large stranger and feels a warm blush spread across his face, as if he weren't hot enough, he grumbles*

*he responds quietly, not used to talking this much*

That's pretty. It suits you.

*It's out of his mouth before he can stop it, and he frowns. god, he's a loser, hitting on this poor sicko. He changes the subject.*

Um. Do you want to come over? My apartment is just there and it's sorta. snowing. You probably shouldn't be out in this kind of weather if you're running a fever.

*he nods, he had a feeling no wouldn't be a choice, and he didn't want this dude to freeze either*

*he murmured into his shoulder, his eyelids drooped slightly*

*gently, he hefted him up slightly, walking to the apartment. today really hadn't been cardigan weather, but damn it, he looked cute. making his way up the concrete stairs, he wheezed.* I need to get more exercise. Jesus. *he fumbles with his key but gets it in the door, unlocking it. the apartment is blissfully warm, and he gently sits Jun down on the sofa, setting the bag with the medicine on the coffee table. he throws a thick afghan blanket over Jun's shoulders before staggering to his door and taking off his shoes, and then his socks. Gross, they're wet. he really needs to invest in some snow-boots.*

Is it warm enough for you? Should I put the kettle on? *he dotes, thrilled at the idea of such a beautiful human alive and breathing inside of his strikingly clean, but dingy apartment.*

*he wraps the large, thick blanket around himself gently, his eyes tired. He wonders if he should remove his mask to be heard better, but keeps it on for safety. He simply shakes his head no, already at a 'comfy' boiling point*

*he bends, removing Jun's own shoes with a small warning. grabbing his first-aid kit before sitting next to him, he scratches his wrist absent-mindedly, anxiously looking him over. He takes the medicine, pouring out an eye-balled amount into a small measuring cup, which turns out to be entirely correct, and hands it to him, before rooting around in the first-aid kit. He tugs out fever patches and a thermometer (still in the plastic! wow!).*

Um. Do you have chills, or anything else? Or do you just feel,, gross?

*he's staring blankly at the ground with his dull eyes, he's not really listening but takes the medicine out of reflex. He pulls the blanket over his head, a sickly pupa from which quiet, congested breathing is almost audible*

*he frowns, worried, sliding a hand underneath the blanket to palm at his forehead, and then his cheeks. he's gently, and he retreats, sighing.*

You must feel pretty bad. *he mumbles, stroking the top of Jun's hair without thinking, and peeling apart a fever patch. He lowers the blanket for a moment, brushing his hair out of the way with one hand and sticking it on with another. The patch feels cool to the touch. he replaces the blanket, but leaves some room for Jun to breathe.*

*he looks up at him, peering through a small opening in the blanket. This kindness was odd to him after years of lonely but what was he gonna do? refuse it? he gulps before resting against Anthony.*

Thanks, *he says as he pulls his mask down, it only clears up his words slightly since he's still wrapped head to thigh in the thick blanket, his voice is still a little vacant as well, but there's something like sincerity in there somewhere*

*he grabs the remote from the edge of the armrest, handing it to Jun with bated breath.* Um. You can watch something. *he allows Jun to lean against him, softly petting the tufts of hair poking through the top of the blanket.*

Seriously, uh, choose anything? I'll probably just. Um. Keep an eye on you. Maybe write a little bit.
