I'm fan of romance, fantasy (even though I think I suck at it) and modern. In fact, I love historical too, but since I'm so bad at it, I leave it to others. I love when there is a sparkle of magic but it is not my specialty.
I love m/m relationship, but do m/f and f/f as well, though I must admit my f/f are asexual.
French is my mother tongue, I'm Canadian. I'd love to have a rp where we can play with both languages. I write a lot in both and like to play with one nation speaks this, the other that, they both can speak this one if they have a military background (Romeo and Juliet style)
Oh, I saw a lot of (*) and I was wondering what it meant? Seems like many people doesn't like that and I begin to suspect it is for OOC talk.

You should get a A+ for that introduction. A lot of the people on here are shy, but they're still a rather friendly bunch. Also, I think Canada's cool. Maybe one day I'll go there. And the parenthesis are used for OOC during an rp. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask ^^

Hi Vali! Yes, the parenthesis you're seeing is probably OOC speech. Different people do it differently. I prefer double parens just to be really clear ((like this!!))
Other people use square brackets, though we disrecommend that because square brackets are also used for BBCode here so it can result in odd things.

What Kim said about the parenthesis. Though if you've been seeing just asterisks * in a roleplay, then it may be someone's style of roleplaying. I actually started like that, where the words in between the asterisks were actions, and the other words were speech. Just in case you didn't know.

I was anxious at first, getting here, (I'm still anxious but not from getting here lol) but now I see that I've made a good choice, I'm actually having fun!

You're welcome. The asterisks are sometimes also used in OOC talk, again for actions such as *waves*
