Phoenixheart hesitantly stepped into the village center and looked around. She had read about this village in a book that she had in her library that doubled as her old home. Deciding that a change of scene would be nice for her, she decided to at least check the village out and see if she could move into it if she liked it. After looking around for a bit, she decided that it did seem like a very nice village and headed towards a building called the White Clinic to inquire about a house. She hesitantly stepped into the building and tentatively called out "H-hello?"

Two girls of varying sizes did their own thing throughout the White Clinic. It's giant tree-like form giving plenty of room to help any and all residents. It even gave several creatures jobs.
Lily's violet eyes looked around the lobby, which was warmly furnitured, with a pale hardwood floor and white walls decorated with plants, drawings, and other things. Various pastel colored couches were strewn about. Lily had been sitting behind the desk that sat directly in front of the view of anyone coming in. The smell of herbs filled the air, giving the large space a mixture of sweet smells that would change every now and then.
The lavender haired girl couldn't help but put on her usual smile, her eyes giving a soft glow as she noticed the girl who had entered, giving a hesitant greeting. She smiled and stood from her comfy pastel rose chair, "Why, hello!" she responded in a cheery voice, "How may I help you?" raising a brow as she noticed she couldn't recognize the girl.

Phoenixheart looked around the inside of the building a bit before hearing a voice and turning towards it to be greeted by a lavender haired girl smiling at her and greeting her cheerfully. Phoenixheart responded a bit shyly with "Oh, u-um, I was wondering if you had any houses available here..." She felt a bit awkward as she had never bought a house before. The only house she had ever really had lived in was her library and she had just happened to stumble upon it in the middle of a forest and there was no one selling it.
"Oh!" Lily smiled, walked out from behind the desk. "Yes, there are plenty of houses available!" she slowly walked over to the girl, her eyes still glowing softly, her black boots clinking onto the floor softly with her every step. Everything about her could say comforting and welcoming, except for her piercings along her ears, and the studs on her brows.
"Are you new to Golden Tree Hollow?"
"Are you new to Golden Tree Hollow?"
Phoenixheart nodded shyly when asked if she was new. She was only sixteen, so it was a bit awkward as she had read that most sixteen year olds didn't go out and buy houses. However, she wasn't an ordinary sixteen year old and she had also read that this village was pretty welcoming to many races and species and the woman who greeted her seemed welcoming enough so far. She offered the lavender haired woman a small, shy smile and said "s-sorry, I'm a bit nervous. This is the first time I've ever went to buy a house." Her wings fluttered a bit and she felt a bit nervous about showing them as she had left her hoodie that she could use to cover them up back in the library that she had lived in.
Lily gave a smile, "It's quite alright! I understand it, I was nervous when I first came here myself." her eyes gave an unnatural shine, as if they were lights. "I think I have just the house for you! Just follow me, and maybe I can show you around a little bit as we head there." the 17 year old said; heading towards the door only to make a violet sphere in the palm of her hand, sending it off down one of the corridors leading off of the lobby.
Phoenixheart felt comforted when the lavender haired girl mentioned that she was also nervous when she had first gotten to his place. Her smile widened a bit and her eyes glimmered with excitement as she followed the girl to see what house that the girl had in mind for her. She glanced curiously as the girl made a violet sphere appear and send it down one of the corridors.
Lily kept her smile on her face as she lead the girl outside of the tree-like building into the beautiful village. "My name's Lily by the way." she had said as she lead the girl down a path into a somewhat busy street. Buildings made of all sorts of materials with creatures of different kinds going to and fro.
The village was bathed in a bright, warm light from the sun as it made the famous golden leaves on the trees surrounding and in the middle of this village glow.

Phoenixheart replied a bit quietly "I'm Phoenixheart" and looked around curiously as she followed Lily down a path in to a fairly busy street. She enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight and stared in awe as she caught sight of the golden leaves on the trees of the village glow as the sunlight streamed down on them. This place was so unlike her forest, but Phoenixheart had the feeling that she would somehow enjoy living in this beautiful and seemingly lively little village. She smiled a bit at that thought as she continued to follow Lily down the street.
Syrah stepped into the White Clinic and plopped down on one of the bright couches in its lobby. She'd always been terrible with directions, so she spent majority of her day getting lost in the village despite all the help from the locals. She unwrapped a pastry she bought from a cafe she passed through earlier and began to eat as she looked around the room. When she first saw the organic, tree-like structure of the building, she was a bit suspicious that the inside would be conversely damp and uncomfortable. She didn't expect pristine white walls that overflowed with lively decorations, nor the lavish furniture that matched the polished light wood of the floor. The whole place seemed to radiate warmth and coziness.
She shook herself back into alertness after realizing that the sweet aroma of the village center was making her a bit drowsy. After her exhausting journey to the village, all Syrah could think about was finding a place where she could properly rest. She packed the used wrapper into the pocket of her messenger bag and stood up to make her way to the desk.

Nodding at Phoenixheart, the lavender haired girl lead her further into the village, going deeper within. They walked along a path leading away from the busy streets and shops, down towards various homes of different shapes, sizes, colors, and material. Each house was separated a few feet apart, but some went back into the forest and other paths leading to houses further out split off. She lead Phoenixheart down one of the paths splitting off.

The padding of bare skin on the wood echoed about as the sound of someone grunting came along. Soon a short girl with rose colored hair sat on the counter, "how may I help you?" she asked in a high pitched voice, one filled with barely any energy but all the 'joy' she could muster. Her cyan eyes looked to the girl up and down.
Phoenixheart continued to follow Lily, still looking around curiously. This place was so new to her and she wanted to get a good idea of the village that she would hopefully be living in. She took in all of the houses with a curious expression, wondering who, if anyone, lived in them. She also wondered if she would find other houses if she went down any of the other paths that they had passed. She then noticed that Lily was now going down one of the paths that split off and followed her down it.
A voice came from behind the counter and startled Syrah a bit. Was she really so tired that she didn't notice the girl behind the counter? "Oh- I heard that there were houses available around here..." she felt a sudden rush of embarrassment when she realized that she hadn't actually done this before, and didn't actually know how these things work "I'm-I'm new here".

Turning to gaze at Phoenixheart, Lily couldn't help but smile at the girl's obvious curiosity. Leading her down the path, the trees began to seemingly grow larger the deeper they went, the gold becoming more prominent. She soon stopped, her boots kicking up dirt as she turned back to Phoenixheart, her whole body turning; the area was a bit darker due to the trees being much more squeezed together, causing the canopy to only shed faint lights of gold, and Lily's eyes gave yet another glow, the light being much more noticeable. "How do you like it?"
The house behind her was a quaint little cottage like building.
(Describe it as your character would see fit.)

The small girl stared up, craning her neck as she was just so small. 4'2'' to be exact. Aza raised a brow before nodding, "Alrighty," her soft voice answered, "there are plenty of houses, even other places to stay. Just tell me, how far out do you want it?" Aza's cyan eyes looked down to the floor before looking back to the girl before her.
Phoenixheart took in the sight if the house with an expression of awe and delight. It looked so cozy and the quaint size was perfect for her. Although the area was a bit darker, the faint light casted between the canopy of trees made the orange roof look extremely vibrant. Phoenixheart let out a happy chirp and her wings fluttered excitedly as she exclaimed "I love it! It kind of reminds me of the library I used to live in to be honest" She also liked that the location was a bit out of the way so that she could get a bit away from the bustle of the village if she needed to.
Lily giggled, "Well, I'm so happy you love it." her giggle turning into more of a chuckle as she watched Phoenixheart. Her violet eyes glowed brightly as she felt satisfaction for making yet another person feel such a way. "You can head on inside if you want, get comfy, it's already furnished with the basic things. If you want anything or need anything you can just come to me, okay?" she gave a wink, "I got your back."
