Hello!

I'm new to this website, so I thought I'd just give a quick introduction. My name's Robyn, and I love roleplaying, I stick to an online game called Furcadia when I do. I would love to meet new friends along the way through here, so please don't hesitate to message me if you're interested! Thanks.

There's a bunch of good people here and i's sure you can find someone with the same Rping interests as you. Especially since a lot...again myself included, don't seem to have any preference for Rp scenarios.

Furcadia is one of those places I keep meaning to revisit everytime someone posts about it here but so far haven't gotten around to it.

You should sometime, it's a wonderful game.

*raises hand* Even I have long-standing roots in Furcadia. It really is awesome for all types of freeform, and with all the new Dragonspeak that's come out over the last few years, it's gotten pretty decent for more structured sorts of gaming too.

Have they continued adding more Dragonspeak? Maybe it's time to dig out that dream again and make it even more awesome

Oodles. Although I'm not sure when the last time you checked was.

But I will hold myself back from a long winded rant about how much Dragonspeak has changed and how I used to have to carry water uphill in a leaky bucket in the snow without shoes and I liked it so as to not further derail this topic.

More on topic but random: Robyn has a cute fan thar.

Probably about two years ago, the last thing I added were NPC Borg drones that assimilated the dream as they moved around. Going to download the latest version now

They een have ds for people playing furc from an iPhone iPod touch etc. Which means...yeah. They got an app for that. Heh.

I noticed that as I looked through the code files but it seems the app is no longer available.

Kim, you were right, there are a lot of new commands since I last did anything with the game.

The fan in your display Picture is what they spoke of as being cute. I myself prefer the term elegant though. Heh.

Ooh, well thank you very much! I wish the picture didn't get squished upon uploading it though - it actually looks a lot nicer when it's nornmal. xD

And this is why I have no display pic myself as most anyone I would use would get squished up just as you describe. Heh. I am on another note debating upon starting a new rp in the forums if wish to join in? The 4 rps I'm in right now have been slowing down a bit so I need a new one so I can keep moving.

That's seems odd! I've never heard of roleplaying in a forum. How does that work? xD

Kinda the same as it does in normal Rps. Take turns and so forth. But it carries the added benefit of not all members have to be present at the same time so while you may have to wait awhile to post again you won't have to go through the trouble of starting I've or trying to remember where you left off just cause you or another member of the rp group had to get off of their comp to go shopping go to sleep for the night or whateve the case may be.
