I've just gotten back on after a long Hiatus and have realized most of my rp partners are gone. Super sad!
I was wondering if there is a guild somewhere on the website for members who give abit more length(edit: and depth) I suppose to their rps? I love reading novels and contributing(edit: empathizing this word) partners. Its just sort of hard to come by those people and none of the search threads are catching my interest. Suggestions?
Edit: I am looking for the forum/guild/other websites where people who like story pushing novels. I am not calling out people or those who like smaller rps or quick ones. Everyone has a different style and a differnt set of likes and dislikes. And I respect that. I even changed the title if some people found it rude.

It might be worth remembering that not all experienced RPers will write long posts, and that not all long posters will be experienced
Yes, it is good to remember that different people have different writing styles and thank you.

I've just had bad luck I suppose in finding a desirsble style.

Cannot stress this enough.
Quality over quantity, always! I'd rather you'd write one sentence about the sofa, unless you are elaborating for a plant, plot device, or suspense.
Yes, I agree, quality over quantity, but you know you will not always get that. Where you will have someone reply with just a voiced response than use the rest of the paragraph to figet or have some inner monologue. Where they will not contribute to the plot and instead you are the one who has to nudge them along, as if they are a kid in college raising their hand to use the bathroom still.

i'm sure something will turn up eventually. C: you'll find that most multipara RPs happen in PMs and groups, instead of in the public forum which tends to be more casual stuff, so i wouldn't give up yet.
i will add to this discussion that sometimes depending on the pace of the scene, such as a conversation in a static environment, it can be difficult for some people to think of ways to bulk out their posts without it feeling like meaningless fluff, even if they otherwise aim for multiple paragraphs, so it's always good to be aware of that when you're feeling frustrated with a partner and try to talk through it. it might not always possible to be consistent in length without feeling as though quality is being sacrificed, and regarding plot advancement, the player might not be sure how far they can develop the story in each post without the OPs consent.
regardless, i hope you find a match that works for you! there's no right or wrong way to RP so long as you're both having fun.

I did not know that tool was a thing! Like I said, its been a while and overall I wasn't too familiar with the website even before. But that is actually really helpful and thank you for showing me this.

awesome, i'm glad i could assist! even if there's currently no prompts in the Find RP that you're interested in, it'll still help you figure out which users have the RP style you're looking for, so it might be worth sending some PMs!
