Hey guys, I had an idea and I wanted to know who is interested. I'll try to keep the story short, but something else might take up space.
Story:
The year is 2020, contact with an alien race was made, which lead them to arrive at Earth. They Aliens, known by their own tongue as the Nactoka, came at first in peace. Not long after arriving, the Nactoka began attacking Earth, leaving it in ruins. They also took humans as test subjects. All that was three years ago. Now, the Nactoka are still in Earth, attempting to take the planet as their own. The Resistors are a global resistance group who are fighting to preserve humanity. They unfortunately are fighting an uphill battle, but they have one thing on their side, the Ninjas. Using stolen equipment from the Nactoka, the Ninjas use plans and energy based weapons to fight back. There are four classes of Ninjas, Commando, Insurgent, Vamps, and Stalkers.
The Commando Ninjas are elite fighters. They use a variety of weapons and are experts in assault. They use abilities that harden their armor to take blast from Nactoka weapons, increase their speed and strength, and can generate a healing field around themselves and others.
Insurgent Ninjas are masters at tactics. Their preferred choice of weapons are medium to small firearms and knives. They can quickly scout an area and figure out where to place traps. They use abilities that allow them to see anything living, whether human, animal, and Nactoka, in an area, can scan environments for items and traps, and can teleport short distances.
The Vamp Ninjas are brutal, fighting machines. They prefer Plasma and Energy based blades and other melee weapons. They are masters at psychological warfare, brutally killing Naktoka in order make the others disorganized and easier to pick of. They use abilities that make them faster and stronger, change appearance into horrifying demons, and drain life out of Nactoka in order to make their weapons stronger.
And finally, Stalker Ninjas are masters as Stealth. They use blades, knives, melee weapons, and small firearms to get the job done. They use abilities to make themselves invisible, longer than any of the other classes, shapeshift into anything, and a unique ability that can render foes defenseless via a high frequency sound.
All Ninjas have some shared powers, like Wall Running and climbing, invisibility, increased agility, and enhanced senses and abilities, but some classes Excell in a certain ability more than change there and each has their own unique powers and style.

This sounds pretty interesting. I think I would want to be a Stealth Ninja. Would I have to make a new character or could I use one of my old ones and just change their backstory?
